What it does
Weight Forecast is a free web app (installable PWA) for logging food, weight, activity and habits. It:
- Logs food by photo, voice or text with Gemini calorie and macro estimates.
- Logs weight with a trend and an approximate goal-date forecast from your weigh-ins (straight-line fit, needs 3+ points).
- Connects to Garmin for daily summaries — steps, sleep, heart rate and similar. Workouts do not sync automatically.
- Offers optional Strava connection (beta, browser only).
- Plans workouts with Google Calendar sync and Telegram reminders.
- Includes a daily journal / notebook.
- Sends a daily AI coach plan to Telegram around noon via @weightlogtbot (the bot logs weight; food photos stay in the web app).
- Exposes an MCP server so ChatGPT and Claude can read and log your data.
- Supports data export and account delete.
- Is free — no paid tier.
Comparisons & methodology
- How the goal-date forecast works — linear regression on weigh-ins from the last 30 calendar days; approximate goal date, not a guaranteed accuracy figure.
- Weight Forecast vs MacroFactor
- Weight Forecast vs Happy Scale — Android/web alternative when Happy Scale is not available on your device.

FAQ
How does the goal-date forecast work? It fits a straight-line trend through your recent weigh-ins. The app shows a confidence label (high/medium/low) based on how many weigh-ins you have and how clear the trend is. It does not promise a ± kg accuracy.
Is it free? Free. No paid tier. Core tracking, food logging, Garmin summaries, Telegram coach, and the goal-date estimate are available at no cost.
What does the Telegram bot do? @weightlogtbot logs weight and delivers your daily AI coach plan around noon. Food logging stays in the web app — the bot does not accept food photos.
Does it work with Garmin? Yes — daily summaries such as steps, sleep and heart rate sync. Workouts do not sync automatically.
Does it work offline? Yes; it's a PWA with local storage and background sync.
