Documentation
wawesome runs one JavaScript module as a backend. You write a fetch handler, deploy it from your terminal, and it answers at a URL of its own.
Start with getting started. The pages below come in the order most readers need them.
- Getting startedGo from an empty directory to a URL that answers. Three commands.
- TutorialsOne job, start to finish.
- ConceptsTenant, App, Function, version, invocation. The whole vocabulary.
- CLIEvery command, and what it prints.
- DocumentsPages and files a deploy carries, and the addresses they answer at.
- Private filesFiles your handler reads and no address serves.
- Environment variablesValues your App reads while it runs, and secrets nothing reads back.
- LogsRead a run, follow one live, and tell a 500 from a trap.
- Outbound callsCall another service, and read the error when the host is not on the allowlist.
- Where your data goesNo platform database, no sockets. Your own database, over HTTP.
- SchedulesCron in the config file, and a pause that survives a deploy.
- Status pageOne page that says whether an App is working, and what to do when it is not.
- Inviting a clientGive the person paying for a site a window into it, and nothing else.
- Handing an App overGive an App to the client it was built for, without the site changing address.
- Custom domainsPoint a domain here, add the records, and read what each state means.
- AIThe assistant in the dashboard, and the agents you connect yourself.
- PeopleInvite somebody into your workspace, and what each standing can do.
- Deploy credentialsThe secret your pipeline deploys with, and how to take it back.
- Exporting a workspaceOne archive of everything in a workspace, and how long the link lasts.
- Closing a workspaceWhat stops, the fourteen days before it does, and how to change your mind.
- ErrorsEvery reason the gateway turns a request down, and what to do about it.
- LimitsEvery number, and what happens when you reach one.
