Caddie
Caddie is a Mac app (and a web app for notes, tasks and calendar) that puts notes, tasks, calendar, booking links, meeting notes, dictation and AI agents in one place. Meetings are recorded on the Mac with no bot on the call, and every promise made in the meeting becomes a task on your day. It is free while in beta, then $10 a month for everything.

What Caddie does
- Notes: notes sort themselves into smart folders, search finds any word, and a journal zooms from a year to a day. Imports from Notion, Obsidian, Mem, Evernote and Apple Notes.
- Tasks and calendar: one day view with tasks and Google Calendar events together. A Planner in the Mac's notch plans your morning with you and nudges you back when you drift.
- Meetings: records Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and other calls on your Mac with no bot joining. Notes are ready when the call ends, and every action item ("I'll send that over") becomes a task. It can create Linear issues live on the call, and coach user interviews with the next question to ask (by The Mom Test).
- Dictation: hold fn in any Mac app and talk. It learns names and jargon from your notes and calendar, and keeps Hinglish (Hindi words in Roman letters). Caddie measured itself as the most accurate of six Mac dictation setups on real-world speech: https://usecaddie.app/blog/dictation
- Booking links: share one link; guests pick a time in their time zone and your focus time stays protected. Replaces Calendly for most people.
- Agents: give an agent tasks and routines. It runs on your own Claude Code or Codex account, with your MCP tools, its own browser and your Mac's apps, and asks you only when it needs you: https://usecaddie.app/blog/agents
- Video notes: paste a YouTube or X link to get chapter-by-chapter notes with visuals, and share them as a page.
- Teams: a shared workspace, calls filed to a team knowledge base, and a Monday catch-up on what shipped and who's stuck.
- iPhone app: tasks, notes and calendar, synced live (beta on TestFlight).
- MCP server: https://usecaddie.app/mcp lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agents read and write your Caddie notes, tasks and calendar (personal agent key from Settings › AI).
