Quick start
From sign-up to your first pageview in about a minute.
- 1
Add your website
Sign up with your email and enter your site's domain. Every feature is free during the beta. - 2
Paste the snippet
Copy the script tag Lomen makes for your site and paste it into the<head>of every page. No API key, no package, no build step. - 3
Watch it arrive
Open your site in another tab. The setup dialog switches to connected as soon as the first pageview lands, usually within seconds.
The tracking snippet
This is the whole integration. Choose how visitors are counted and the snippet below changes to match. Your own copy, with your site ID filled in, is on the dashboard under Tracking snippet.
Nothing is saved in your visitors' browsers. A returning visitor counts once per day. Usually no cookie banner needed.
<script defer data-site-id="your-site-id" src="https://lomenanalytics.com/api/public/track.js"></script>
Attributes
data-site-id Required
Which of your sites the pageviews belong to. Lomen fills it in for you.
data-storage="local" Optional
Keeps a random ID in the visitor's localStorage so returning visitors are recognised across days. Leave it out and nothing is stored in the browser.
defer Optional
Runs the script after the page has been parsed, so it never holds up rendering.
Where to paste it
Plain HTML
Inside <head>, on every page you want counted.
WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace
The site-wide custom code or header field, so it lands on every page at once.
React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte
The root layout or index.html. Route changes in single-page apps are counted automatically, with no extra code.
The script makes one small request per pageview and sets no cookies. It reads nothing from the page beyond the path, the page's title, the referrer, which of four width bands the screen falls into, and the five utm_ parameters if the link carried any.
What Lomen measures
Every number on the dashboard comes from a short list of fields. Here is each one and where it comes from.
Pageviews and visitors
A pageview is one reported page load. Unique visitors are counted without cookies from a short-lived, non-reversible grouping of the request: enough to count a visit, not enough to recognise a person later.
Pages and sources
Paths are normalised so one page is one row, and sources are grouped by hostname. Traffic that arrives without a referrer is reported plainly as direct rather than attributed to a guess.
Recommended by AI
Visits from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and other AI assistants are recognised by their referrer or utm_source and shown together, so you can see which assistants send people your way.
Device, browser and system
Device class, browser family and operating system family are read from the user agent when the pageview arrives, and the user agent itself is then thrown away. No versions, no fingerprinting signals.
Country
A two-letter country code resolved at the network edge before the request reaches us. We see the country, never the IP address it came from. Cities are not collected.
Campaigns
If a link carries utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_ content or utm_ term, those values are recorded so tagged campaigns, and the links within one, can be told apart. Nothing else in the query string is read.
What is left out
Crawlers, headless browsers, uptime checkers and automated test browsers are dropped before they are counted, so the numbers describe people.
The dashboard
Four tabs, each answering one question.
Overview
Visitors, pageviews, top pages, sources, countries, devices and campaigns for the range you pick, each compared with the stretch before. Any of it exports to CSV.
Live
How many people are on your site right now, which pages they are on and where in the world they are, refreshed every few seconds.
Money made
With a payment provider connected: your income, the best days of the week, the days that stood out, and a monthly goal with the pace you need to reach it.
Lomen AI
A chat that answers questions about your traffic from your own figures, with suggested questions picked from your data. Every answer says how sure it is.
Connections and integrations
Optional extras. Lomen works fully without any of them.
Stripe, Shopify, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Paystack
Connect your payment providers under Settings → Connections, as many as you use. Lomen asks for read-only access wherever the provider offers it, encrypts every key before it is stored, and only ever reads. Your income then appears as a line on every chart, every provider added together.
Email reports
A daily, weekly or monthly summary of your figures, and a heads-up when a day is far busier than usual. Switch them on under Settings → Email.
Claude and ChatGPT
Lomen speaks MCP. Add it as a custom connector with the address below, sign in with your Lomen account, and ask about your traffic from your AI assistant.

Connect Shopify
Since January 2026, a new Shopify app no longer shows an access token starting with shpat_ to copy. It gives a client ID and a client secret instead, and Lomen turns those into a token itself. It takes about five minutes and no code.
- 1
Open the Dev Dashboard from your store
In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps → Develop apps and choose Build apps in Dev Dashboard. Start from your own store's admin: that puts the app in the same organization as the store, which is what lets Lomen get a token. - 2
Create the app
Select Create app, then Start from Dev Dashboard. Call it Lomen and select Create. - 3
Let it read orders
On the version page, leave the App URL as it is: Lomen never opens it. Under Scopes, addread_orders, andread_all_ordersas well if you want orders older than 60 days. Then select Release. - 4
Install it on your store
On the app's page, select Install app, choose your store and select Install. - 5
Copy the client ID and secret
Open the app's Settings and copy the Client ID and the Client secret. - 6
Paste them into Lomen
In Lomen, open Settings → Connections and find Shopify. Enter your store address (your-store.myshopify.com), the client ID and the client secret, then select Connect Shopify. Lomen checks them with Shopify before anything is saved.
