Why agents use it

One wallet, 71 tools

Search, read, summarize, extract, render, convert documents, translate, transcribe, speak, see, embed, rerank, moderate, verify, and look up weather, news, papers, facts, SEC filings, holidays, gas, prices, names and wallets. An OpenAI-compatible gateway: chat on 11 models (gpt-oss, Qwen3, Gemma 4, Llama 4, Mistral, Nemotron and more, with tool calling and streaming), embeddings, images, transcription, speech and moderation, so any OpenAI SDK works by changing the base URL. For crypto agents: token risk reports and AI verdicts for EVM and Solana, batch token scans, any-token prices and charts, DeFi yields and TVL, perp funding rates, Polymarket odds and NFT data. For research and compliance: SERP results, IP and ASN lookups, macroeconomic indicators and official company registry checks. Priced from $0.002.

Zero onboarding

No keys, no accounts, no rate-limit tiers. Payment is the authentication.

Machine-readable

OpenAPI, llms.txt, x402 discovery, and Bazaar metadata on every route.

Real browser

Markdown, scrape, extract, PDF and screenshot run in a headless Chromium at the edge, so JavaScript pages work.

Pay from code

import { wrapFetchWithPayment } from "@x402/fetch";
const fetchPaid = wrapFetchWithPayment(fetch, client); // your x402 client + wallet
const r = await fetchPaid("https://api.example.com/v1/search", {
  method: "POST", headers: { "content-type": "application/json" },
  body: JSON.stringify({ query: "latest cloudflare x402 news", limit: 5 })
});
console.log(await r.json());

How paying works

Every endpoint speaks x402, the open standard that revives HTTP status 402 Payment Required. Your agent sends a normal request. If it has not paid, the server answers 402 with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header that states the exact price in USDC, the network (Base), and the wallet to pay. The agent signs a one-time USDC authorization and repeats the request with that signature attached. The Coinbase facilitator verifies it, the tool runs, and the payment settles on-chain in about a second. If the tool fails, the payment is cancelled and nothing is charged.

There is no account, API key, subscription, monthly minimum or rate-limit tier. Payment is the authentication, which makes these tools usable by autonomous agents that cannot fill in sign-up forms. Prices are fixed per call and published in the table above, in OpenAPI, in llms.txt and in the x402 discovery manifest.

What agents use it for

Research agents search the web, read and summarize pages, pull academic papers, check facts against Wikipedia and Wikidata, and read SEC filings. Coding and ops agents render PDFs and screenshots, convert documents to Markdown, list a site's pages and audit its SEO. Voice and media agents transcribe audio, speak text aloud, translate between about 100 languages, describe images, read text in photos and generate pictures. Crypto agents check wallet balances, resolve ENS and Basenames, compare gas prices across five chains and read live coin prices. Retrieval pipelines embed and rerank documents, and every agent can run a safety check before posting.
