Connect Xem Studio to your AI
Give your assistant real-world dimensions, mating interfaces, and available STEP/STL references while you design.
Free to connect · No Xem account or API key · Works with compatible MCP clients
Which AI are you using?
Connect to Claude
- Open Customize → Connectors, then choose Add → Custom → Web.
- Name it Xem Studio, paste the MCP address above, and select No sign in if prompted.
- Save it, then enable Xem Studio from the + → Connectors menu in your conversation.
On Team or Enterprise, an organization owner may need to add the connector.
Want your AI to help set it up?
Copy this into your assistant. It can walk you through settings—or perform supported setup steps if it has the necessary tools and your permission.
Help me connect Xem Studio (https://xemstudio.com/mcp) to Claude. If you can configure the MCP server with my permission, do so. Otherwise guide me through the settings. Don't say it is connected until you actually verify a successful Xem Studio tool call.
The prompt updates automatically when you select a different AI above.
Test your connection
After installation, ask your assistant to use an actual Xem tool—not just browse the website.
Using the Xem Studio MCP tools, find the Raspberry Pi 5 dimensions and mounting-hole layout. Cite the Xem record and say whether the dimensions are measured, nominal, or sourced from another reference. If you cannot access Xem tools, say so.
You should see a result returned by Xem Studio. A normal web search does not confirm an MCP connection.
