Supernormal
Meeting context for your AI tools
Introducing the Supernormal MCP
What is an MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools connect to external data sources. It's basically a way of connecting your AI tools to each other. One setup, and they can share context directly.
What you can do
Your Supernormal meetings go wherever you work. Once the MCP is set up, Claude (or whichever AI tool you use) can read your meeting history directly. No copying transcripts, no switching tabs. Your context is just there when you need it. Here are some examples of what you can do.
For more inspiration, check out our article on how to use meeting notes with Claude.
Client deliverables
- "Based on my discovery call with [client], write a proposal covering their goals, our recommended approach, and next steps."
- "Draft a status update for [client] based on our last three project meetings."
- "Pull everything discussed about [client's] brief and write a summary I can send them."
Internal work
- "What action items came out of this morning's standup, and who owns each one?"
- "Find everything we discussed about the Q3 roadmap and draft a summary."
- "Create a Supernormal project for the rebrand and add all our discovery meetings to it."
Getting started
Select your AI tool for setup instructions.
Claude Code
Run this command in your terminal:
claude mcp add supernormal --transport http https://api.supernormal.com/mcp
Your Supernormal meetings and projects are now available as context in any Claude Code session.
To check it's working, try: "Summarise my most recent meeting."

Prefer to stay in Supernormal?
You don't need a separate AI subscription to work with your meeting notes. Everything above (asking questions, pulling action items, and drafting follow-ups) is also available directly inside the Supernormal app. The MCP connection is for teams who are already working in Claude, Cursor, or another AI tool and want their meeting context to follow them there.
Questions or feedback?
This is the first version of the Supernormal MCP. We'd love to know what other functionality you'd like to see. If you hit any issues, get in touch at [email protected].
