macOS users — first-run prompt

On first run, macOS asks for your login keychain password to read Chrome's cookies. This is normal — click Always Allow so it doesn't ask again. SuperMCP never stores or transmits your password.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it read my login session?

SuperMCP reads cookies from your Chrome browser's cookie database (the same way password managers work). It uses these cookies in a headless Chromium browser to access Reddit and Twitter as you. No passwords are stored or transmitted.

Do I need Chrome open?

No. SuperMCP reads cookies from Chrome's database on disk. Chrome doesn't need to be running. You just need to have logged into Reddit/Twitter in Chrome at some point.

What about Google Trends and News?

These use public RSS feeds directly -- no login needed, no browser, instant results.

Is my data private?

All processing happens locally on your machine. SuperMCP runs as a local process -- your cookies and data never leave your computer. The only external call is API key validation to webmatrices.com.

What's the free limit?

100 requests per day across all tools. Upgrade to unlimited for a one-time payment of $9.

Which AI tools are supported?

Any tool that supports the MCP protocol. This includes Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and more. SuperMCP runs as a standard stdio MCP server.

How often are cookies refreshed?

SuperMCP reads cookies fresh from Chrome's database on every request. As long as you stay logged into Reddit and Twitter in Chrome, it will always use your latest session.

Can I use this in production?

SuperMCP is designed for developer and research workflows. It runs locally on your machine and uses your personal browser session, so it's best suited for individual use rather than server-side production deployments.
