Connect Your Saves to AI Tools

Use your Reddit save library as a knowledge source inside Claude, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client. Search by meaning, organize, and export - without leaving your workflow.

Follow the steps for Claude

One connector, added once. Works on claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and the mobile app. AI tool access is part of the Pro and Lifetime plans (not the free trial or Basic).

Claude

Add it once as a connector. It works on claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and the Claude mobile app.

  1. 1 Open Settings → Connectors in Claude on the web or in Claude Desktop.
  2. 2 Click Add custom connector and paste the server URL. https://reddit-later-server.vercel.app/mcp Copy
  3. 3 Click Connect and sign in with your access code - open Readdit Later, click Connect to AI in the sidebar, and your code is right there. From then on, every Claude chat can search your saves.

Prefer the terminal

Claude Code can add the same server from the command line. Sign in with /mcp after it is added.

claude mcp add --transport http readdit-later https://reddit-later-server.vercel.app/mcp

Cursor, Windsurf & Claude Desktop

The local server configures your tools automatically and adds file exports: CSV, Markdown, HTML, Obsidian, and Notion sync.

  1. 1 Run one command in your terminal. npx readdit-later-mcp setup Copy
  2. 2 Restart your AI tool and keep Chrome open - the extension supplies live data, with an offline cache as fallback.

How it works

Model Context Protocol

Claude Desktop

Cursor IDE

Claude Web

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI tools access external data sources. Readdit Later's MCP integration turns your Reddit save library into a personal knowledge connector that works inside Claude, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client.

Two connection modes are available. Remote MCP is a personal connector for Claude web, desktop, and mobile: open Readdit Later, click Connect to AI in the sidebar, click Create my private link, and copy the URL. Then in Claude go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste it. The remote connector gives Claude full access to your library - semantic search, summaries, insights, recommendations, plus actions like labeling, notes, marking read, and (with confirmation) deleting. The link is private, revocable anytime from the extension, and tokens rotate every 90 days. Local MCP runs via npx readdit-later-mcp setup for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Windsurf - it configures your client automatically and adds file exports: CSV, Markdown, HTML, Obsidian, and Notion sync.

The local MCP server exposes 20 tools across four categories. Read tools: search_posts (full-text), get_post, get_stats, list_subreddits, list_labels, list_collections, get_insights (pattern analysis), and connection_status. Write tools: label_posts, remove_label, mark_read, add_note, delete_posts, create_collection, add_to_collection, remove_from_collection, and delete_collection. Export tools: export_posts (JSON, CSV, Markdown, HTML, Obsidian). Notion tools: sync_to_notion and export_to_notion.

How people use it

Research with Claude using your own saves

Ask Claude to reference your saved posts while researching a topic. Your saves become context that Claude can search, cite, and summarize alongside web results.

Coding context in Cursor

Connect your Reddit saves to Cursor so your AI coding assistant can reference tutorials, Stack Overflow discussions, and documentation you bookmarked on Reddit.

Search saves by meaning

The remote MCP connector supports semantic search, so you can describe what you are looking for rather than remembering exact keywords. The local server for Cursor and other MCP clients matches keywords.

Organize and export from your AI workflow

The local MCP server supports write operations - label, organize into collections, add notes, delete, and export - so you can manage your save library without opening Readdit Later directly.
