Usage counts reply attempts — every try counts toward your allowance, not only delivered replies. Microphone minutes count from the moment the mic opens — startup and silence included. Conversation estimates figure roughly 10 replies per conversation.

Calls, texts, and your business number run through your own provider account (Telnyx or Twilio): your provider bills you directly for number rental, calls, and messages at its own rates — separate from your Mayor plan, and never on your Mayor bill. Twilio numbers connect for voice calls; automatic text-backs are sent through Telnyx.

How this works

How do I get started?

Sign in, tell The Mayor about your business, and confirm your profile. Connect a calendar in Connectors, then confirm your services, opening hours, and booking rules in conversation.

What does Today show?

Your morning briefing, anything needing attention, upcoming Mayor bookings, and next steps. Appointments, customers, and tasks open from here — tap View all, Customers, or View tasks.

Can The Mayor contact my customers?

Once you connect your business number through Telnyx, text-backs are sent automatically from that number; until a number is connected, you copy the drafts into your own messaging app. Phone features require a supported provider, a connected number, and completed setup.

How does voice work?

Choose Talk, allow microphone access, and speak naturally. You can interrupt, mute, or end the conversation. If voice cannot start, your typed messages still work.

Who can change business records?

Owners and managers can manage customers and appointments. Owners and people with the billing role manage subscriptions. Your role appears in Settings.
