• Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL above, and leave authentication empty.
• ChatGPT: add it as a connector/app using the URL above (no authentication).
• Other clients: any MCP client that supports the Streamable HTTP transport. Requests are stateless JSON-RPC over POST.

Then just ask, e.g. “find active Spanish-speaking Minecraft servers”, “is discord.gg/abc123 still working?”, or “has this server been growing?”

search_servers

Search public Discord servers indexed by disdex. Matches words against the server name, vanity URL, description, profile traits and guild tag. With a query, results are ranked by relevance (servers named for the query first, then matches in traits and descriptions, with bigger and more active servers first among similar matches); without one, by member count. Each result has its member and online counts, language, and a joinable invite link when one is known. If no server matches every word of a longer query, results match all but one word and partial_match is true. NSFW servers are never returned.

get_server

Full details for one Discord server: description, member/online/boost counts, language, guild tag, Discord features, invite link, and how its member count changed over the last 30 days.

get_server_activity

Daily member and online counts for one Discord server over a time window, for questions like "is this server growing?" or "how big was it in March?". Values are daily averages of disdex's scans.

check_invite

Look up a Discord invite link or code (discord.gg/abc, discord.com/invite/abc, or just abc). Says whether disdex last saw it working (live), confirmed it dead, is still checking it (pending), or has never seen it (unknown), and which server it leads to, including dead invites, together with other working invites for that server when known.

get_stats

How many Discord servers, users, bots, games and invites disdex has indexed, and when those totals were last refreshed.

What it does and doesn't include

• Data comes from public Discord invite links that disdex checks periodically: server names, descriptions, member and online counts, guild tags and growth history.
• Servers marked NSFW on Discord are never returned.
• Individual Discord user profiles are not available through the MCP server.
• Server owners can hide their server from disdex on the account page.
• Prefer plain HTTP? The same data is in the JSON API.
