Why Check First

Skip Services That Are Down

We test each pay-per-call service usually about every 30 minutes (busy, recently changed and paid-alert-plan services: every few minutes; services with no payment request for 7 days: about once a day), without paying, and connect to MCP servers from the official registry without logging in. You see if it answered, how fast and when, before you spend a cent.

Spot Price And Payment Changes

We compare the price and payment address each service asks for with its listing and with our earlier checks, so a switched address or a higher price stands out. Our free guard stops your agent from paying an address we have never seen for that service.

Proof, Not Opinions

Every test result links to a signed record. Each test purchase links to its transaction on the Base blockchain (example: a test-purchase receipt (JSON) and its Base transaction). Services can reply on the record.

What We Find

Problems your agent would run into if it paid without checking, measured on real services.

About 1 in 16 payment requests asked a different price than the service's listing (most of them higher).

About 1 in 50 test calls found a working service offline or not ready to take payment.

From 955 of 15,124 payment requests across 3,560 services and 418 of 21,226 test calls across 3,606 services, over our most recent completed days (UTC). Some price differences are normal, such as prices that depend on the request. A failed call usually isn't charged, so these are wasted calls and retries, not money lost. Raw data: rates and totals.
