Social Media MCP Server

SocialToAI is a hosted MCP server for social media data: add one address to your AI client and it can read publicly visible posts, comments, profiles and trends on 18 platforms. There is nothing to install and no platform account or cookie to provide. The server lists 16 tools; most calls cost 2 credits, and failed calls are free. A client that can sign in signs in; a tool that only takes a header sends an API key.

Connect SocialToAI

Address: https://mcp.socialtoai.com/mcp

Add an MCP server in your AI and enter this address. If a sign-in page opens, sign in with your email and press Allow. If your tool asks for a key instead, copy one from the console and put it in a header: Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>. Get a key

In a terminal, one command:

Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http socialtoai https://mcp.socialtoai.com/mcp

Codex:

codex mcp add socialtoai --url https://mcp.socialtoai.com/mcp

Writing code? Call the API with a key: see the API docs.

FAQ

Which AI clients work?

Any client that can add a remote MCP server over HTTP, and every one takes the same address. A client that can sign in opens our sign-in page: sign in with the code we email you and press Allow. New here? Signing in creates your account. A tool that only takes a header, or a server nobody signs in on, sends an API key in it.

Does my AI see my key?

The client holds the key, or the token a sign-in gave it, and sends it with each request; it is not part of what the model is given, and no answer of ours repeats it. We store only hashes and never write them to a log.

What does a question cost?

A question is as many calls as your AI decides to make. Most calls cost 2 credits (range 1–24), and every answer states the credits charged and your balance, so your AI can tell you what it spent.

What happens when a call fails?

It costs nothing. The answer says why and what to change, so your AI can correct the call by itself. When a result is uncertain we do not retry on our own.

Are there rate limits?

5 call a second per key, and 20 a second after the first purchase. Going over is answered with a wait time and is not charged.
