Public data only.

The server never returns answer keys, explanations, transcripts, recordings, bookmarks, practice history or account data. It does not create sessions and stores nothing about the caller.

PTE MCP FAQ

Is the PTE MCP server free?

Yes. It is a public read-only endpoint with no account, API key or usage fee.

Which PTE question types are covered?

All 22 PTE Academic types across speaking, writing, reading and listening, from Read Aloud and Repeat Sentence to Write from Dictation.

Does it return full practice questions or answer keys?

No. It returns one public sample per type plus the size of the practice bank. Answer keys, explanations and transcripts stay inside the app.

Can an agent score my speaking or writing?

No. AI scoring runs in the YoushowPTE app and needs an account. The MCP endpoint only reads public reference data.

How current are the score requirements?

Thresholds follow the Home Affairs rule period introduced on 7 August 2025, with the legacy period kept for earlier test dates. Confirm the linked official source before applying.

Which clients work with it?

Any MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers, including Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. Point the client at the endpoint URL; there is nothing to install.
