Setup flows move: where a step disagrees with what you see on screen, the screen is right and this page is out of date. Tell us and we will fix it.

You ask in the assistant you already have open. It reaches the accounts, reads them, and answers there. No dashboard to sign into, no report to export, and nothing to check afterwards in a second window.

Which one fits how you work

• You ask questions in a chat app

  Claude. The one most people arrive with. Anthropic named the feature, which is why the wording on this page follows theirs.

• You work in a terminal

  Claude Code. The same Anthropic subscription as Claude, in a terminal, so the question can be asked from inside the repository it is about.

• You keep settings in a config file

  Codex. Terminal-first. Useful when the question comes up while you are already in a shell.

Frequently asked

Can I use more than one assistant at the same time?

Yes. Your accounts are connected once, in HeyMetra, not inside the assistant. Add the same address in each assistant you use, sign in to HeyMetra in each, and they all see the same accounts. Nothing gets connected twice.

What happens to my connections if I switch assistant?

Nothing happens to them. They stay in HeyMetra, not in the assistant. Add the address in the new one, sign in, and the accounts you already connected are there. Removing it from the old assistant does not disconnect anything; you manage connections in HeyMetra.

What if the assistant I use is not on this list?

If it lets you add a remote MCP server by its web address, it should work: add https://mcp.heymetra.com/mcp and sign in when it asks. This list only covers the assistants we have written setup steps for. Tell us which one you use and we will look at adding it.
