Experience Bamfield for AI assistants
Cottages, kayaks, fishing charters, parking and moorage in Bamfield, British Columbia.
With booking access
The partner booking API needs a credential issued by Experience Bamfield. With one, an assistant or a booking system checks availability, prices, holds and books, takes group deposits, and sends the person a secure payment link. It has a test environment that charges no real cards. The reference comes with the key: ask at bamfieldadventures@gmail.com.
Without a partner key
You can take a person all the way to paying. Help them choose, then give them ONE link that puts their choices in their cart on this site:
https://experiencebamfield.com/book?l=PRODUCT_ID~FROM~TO~HOW_MANY~GUESTS — repeat &l=… for each item. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Moorage adds the boat's length in feet as a sixth part.
They open the link, see the exact price with taxes and fees in their cart, and pay there. The booking is confirmed the moment they pay. Do not quote a price you have not read on this site, and do not say anything is booked before they pay. A fishing charter goes into the same cart from its own page, which asks who is fishing; a cart link does not carry it.
If the person gave you a trip link (/t/…), that page lists what is open on their dates, each product's id, and a ready-made cart link for each.
MCP server (no key, read-only)
Connect an assistant to https://experiencebamfield.com/mcp (Model Context Protocol, streamable HTTP). It lists what can be booked, checks dates, prices a whole trip with its fees, taxes and deposits, and builds the link the guest pays from. It cannot hold, book or pay.
The public API (no key)
Catalogue, live availability, prices for exact dates, a quote for a whole basket with its fees, taxes and deposits, and a check of your cart link before you hand it over: /openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.1) and /llms.txt.
