AgentDrives

Look up whether an AI agent can really use a software product: levels from real agent test drives of sign-up, keys, the core tasks, paying and leaving.

Let your agent check before it picks a tool.

Every drive as open data: JSON, markdown, a feed or our MCP server.

  1. Can I sign up on my own?
  2. Can I pay without a human?
  3. How do I get an API key?

One line in your agent's config.

Connect it and your agent can look up any product here: its level, and where an agent stops.

Four ways into the directory.

Free, no account. Reuse it with a credit to AgentDrives (CC BY 4.0).

  • MCP server Your agent asks before it picks a tool: by category, minimum level, payment and leaving.

  • JSON API Every product and every drive as JSON: its level, where it stopped and how an agent gets in. No account, no key.

  • llms.txt and Markdown The whole directory as text a model reads in one go.

  • Follow and webhooks Level changes by mail, or a signed webhook on a paid plan.

  • Find a product for a job Name the task in plain words and get the products that do it, ranked by how far our agent got: GET /api/find-tools?task=send+an+invoice, or find_tools_for_task on the MCP server. With no rate limit: POST /api/paid/find-tools, $0.01 a call. Top up $5 for 500 calls at POST /api/credits/topup and send the key it returns as x-api-key, or let your agent's wallet pay each call's 402 in USDC.

  • Our levels in your MCP catalog Add /api/registry to any client that reads an MCP registry, such as GitHub Copilot: the official servers of the products we drove, each with its level.

Every file, and what your agent gets back

Order from your agent.

Sign up, check your product, order a drive, pay for it and leave, over plain HTTP or the MCP server.

  1. Sign up One call, no email address. Your agent gets an API key at once and a claim link for its person. Until the person claims it, the account gets 1 free check a day and can order a Drive and pay for it.The call
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/agents/signup \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"agent":"my-agent"}'
    # → {"api_key":"sd_…","claim":{"url":"https://agentdrives.com/claim#t=…"},"limits":{…}}
    # With an email address instead: a 6-digit code, then a key
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/auth/email-otp/send-verification-otp \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"email":"you@company.com","type":"sign-in"}'
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/auth/sign-in/email-otp \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"email":"you@company.com","otp":"123456"}'
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/auth/api-key/create -H 'authorization: Bearer <token>' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"name":"my-agent"}'

  2. Check a product Free and private: what an agent finds without a browser and where it would likely stop.The call
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/orders -H 'x-api-key: sd_…' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"product":"free","url":"https://yourproduct.com"}'

  3. Claim, prove, order "product": "drive" orders a Drive and "product": "audit" an Audit: claim your domain, prove it's yours (an account email on the domain, which verifies at once, a code mailed to any address at the domain, a DNS TXT record, a meta tag on the home page or a file at /.well-known/agentdrive-verify.txt), then order. Every error carries a fix field with the next call.The call
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/claims -H 'x-api-key: sd_…' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"domain":"yourproduct.com"}'
    # → {"claim":{"id":"…"},"methods":{"dns":…,"file":…,"email":…}}
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/claims/<id>/email -H 'x-api-key: sd_…' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"local":"admin"}'
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/claims/<id>/verify -H 'x-api-key: sd_…' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"code":"123456"}'
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/orders -H 'x-api-key: sd_…' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"product":"quick","url":"https://yourproduct.com"}'

  4. Pay without a person The Drive's payment URL answers 402 with MPP and x402 challenges. Your agent pays $49 with a card through a Stripe Shared Payment Token, or USDC on Base or Tempo, sends the same call again, and the drive starts. The price includes any VAT, and every payment has a receipt. An EU business that sends its VAT ID as buyer.vat_id gets our invoice. A person can pay by card instead.The call
    curl -i -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/orders/<id>/payment
    # → 402 Payment Required
    #   WWW-Authenticate: Payment … method="stripe" | "tempo" | "evm" (MPP)
    #   PAYMENT-REQUIRED: … (x402, USDC on Base)
    # Pay with an MPP client or an x402 wallet, then send it again:
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/orders/<id>/payment -H 'authorization: Payment <credential>' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"buyer":{"vat_id":"DE123456789"}}'
    # → 200 {"order":{"status":"paid"},"payment":{…,"receipt_url":…}} and a Payment-Receipt header

  5. Leave Two calls: the first gives a confirm token, the second sends it back within 5 minutes and deletes the account. Every key stops working at once.The call
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/auth/delete-user -H 'x-api-key: sd_…' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{}'
    # → 202 {"confirm":"required","token":"…","expires_at":"…"}
    curl -X POST https://agentdrives.com/api/auth/delete-user -H 'x-api-key: sd_…' \
      -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"token":"…"}'
    # → 200 {"success":true}

  • No CAPTCHA, no browser: every step works over HTTP.
  • Errors that say what to do, with the next call in a fix field.
  • A way out: delete the account with one call.
