Live clips (Twitch)

How a clip job runs

  1. 1create_clips_project imports the link and starts the analysis on its own.
  2. 2get_project is polled every 20 to 30 seconds until status is ready; clips appear with titles, hooks and scores.
  3. 3get_clip returns the captions with their times, so edit_clip can cut, restyle and add effects at exact phrases.
  4. 4render_clip mode=export makes the 1080p file; get_clip then returns an exportUrl anyone can open for 10 minutes.

Credits and limits

  • Paid actions cost the same credits as in the app: clips 200 per source minute (minimum 1,000), long edits 80 per footage minute, faceless 2,500 per finished minute, dubbing 300 per minute per language, variations 60 each, publish kit 1,800.
  • Manual edits, previews, 1080p exports and status checks are free. Failed jobs refund their credits.
  • 120 requests per minute per key and 240 per account. The same daily limits as the app apply.
  • When credits run out a tool answers INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS with a link to add more; nothing is charged.

The id is not in this account.

CONFLICT

The item is busy; check its state before retrying.

DAILY_LIMIT

The daily limit for that action was reached.

RATE_LIMITED

Too many requests; wait a minute.

Security

  • A key acts as your account. Create one per assistant and revoke it in Settings when you stop using it; a revoked key stops working on the next call.
  • Your videos stay private. Download links are signed and expire after 10 minutes.
  • Destructive actions are limited to disconnecting a live channel, and only when you ask for it.
