Step by step for your app

claude.ai and the Claude app (Desktop / mobile)

1. 1 Open claude.ai → your name (bottom-left) → Settings → Connectors.
2. 2 Click Add custom connector.
3. 3 Name: Nuqti — Remote MCP server URL: paste the link above. Leave Advanced settings (OAuth) empty, then click Add.
4. 4 In a new chat open the + / Search and tools menu and make sure Nuqti is switched on. Ask: “Use Nuqti to analyse backlinks of example.com”.
5. 5 The first time Claude uses a tool it asks for permission — choose “Always allow”.

Connectors you add on claude.ai appear automatically in Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile app with the same account. On the Free plan Claude allows one custom connector.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account or a key?

No. The server is open — no sign-up, no OAuth. Paste the link and you're done.

The connector shows an error or won't connect?

Make sure the link is exactly https://nuqti.com/api/public/mcp (no spaces, no trailing /), the transport is HTTP / Streamable HTTP (not SSE) and authentication is None. For old apps use npx -y mcp-remote.

The AI doesn't use Nuqti?

Name it explicitly: “Use Nuqti to…”, and make sure the connector is enabled in that chat (the + or Tools menu).

I got “Too many requests”?

The limit is 30 requests per minute per IP — wait a minute. Fresh lookups for keywords/sites we don't have yet are limited to 10 per IP per day, technical tools to 200 per day.

How accurate are the numbers?

Measured numbers come from Nuqti's database with their last-update date. Values marked estimated are Nuqti estimates (≈) with the expected range. Full reports need a free account.
