LoreKeeper (lorekeeper.com)

Documentation

Your lore, in your favourite app

LoreKeeper MCP is the official connector from LoreKeeper Ltd. Keep your lore and characters in LoreKeeper, then use them from Claude, ChatGPT or whichever app you like: ask about your world in plain words and the answers come from what you wrote.

It never changes a word of your lore.

01

What you can ask

Answers come from your own notes, recaps and characters, with the document they came from. Name LoreKeeper in your question so the assistant knows where to look.

What did we promise?

“Using LoreKeeper, what did the party promise the mayor of Varnholt, and which session recap says so?”

Brief me for Thursday

“From my LoreKeeper world, give me a previously-on, the open threads and the NPCs likely to come back next session.”

Speak as an NPC

“Pull Captain Vela from LoreKeeper, show me her portrait, and draft three lines she would say about the missing ship.”

Does this break canon?

“Check this twist against my LoreKeeper lore and point out anything it contradicts, with the document it comes from.”

Find every mention

“Search my LoreKeeper Lore Library for everything about the Ember Guild and sum it up.”

Which world?

“List my LoreKeeper worlds.”

02

What it can see

Only the worlds in the LoreKeeper account you sign in with. It searches and reads, and makes new pictures only if you allow it; it never changes or deletes your lore.

Your worlds

Every world in your LoreKeeper account, so one campaign never bleeds into another.

Your Lore Library

Searches your campaign notes, session recaps and setting documents, and reads any document in full.

Your characters

Player characters and NPCs: look, personality, voice, backstory and character sheet.

Their pictures

The portraits and reference sheets you already saved, so the assistant sees who they are.

Questions

It is the official connector from LoreKeeper Ltd (www.lorekeeper.com). It uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard Claude and ChatGPT use to connect to other apps, so your assistant can look things up in your LoreKeeper worlds while you talk to it.

Claude (web, desktop and phone), ChatGPT and Claude Code, plus other apps that support MCP sign-in, such as Cursor. You add LoreKeeper once and sign in with your LoreKeeper account.

No. It can search and read your worlds, documents and characters, but it never changes or deletes your lore. The one thing it can add is a new picture, and only on a connection you allowed to spend credits.

Only you. The connector reads the worlds in the LoreKeeper account you signed in with, and nobody else’s.

LoreKeeper never uses your lore to train models. When you connect Claude or ChatGPT, what the assistant reads becomes part of your chat with that service, so its own data settings apply. Check them in Claude or ChatGPT if that matters to you.

Yes, if you allow it. Allow pictures when you connect, or switch on “Can spend credits on pictures” under Account → Connections, and your assistant can make new pictures of your characters and worlds in their art style. Each picture costs the same credits as in LoreKeeper. Without that, it only shows the portraits and reference sheets you already saved.

Remove LoreKeeper from the connectors or plugins list in Claude or ChatGPT. To cut a connection off at once from our side, revoke it in LoreKeeper under Account → Connections.

No. Those are separate products by other people that share the name. This connector is made by LoreKeeper Ltd and connects to your account at www.lorekeeper.com.

Your notes, remembered

Keep the assistant you already use, and give it your world. Everything stays in your LoreKeeper Lore Library.
