Arc Research MCP

A remote Model Context Protocol server that gives your agent live access to Arc Research data — without copying reports into the prompt by hand.

What it is

Arc Research exposes Streamable HTTP MCP at /mcp. Clients authenticate with MCP OAuth (Claude.ai custom connectors) or a personal bearer token. Access is included with Arc Research Starter.

Tools are thin adapters over the same services that power the web app: the knowledge graph, commodity hubs, CFTC positioning, natural gas storage and weather, plus your private stories and journal entries.

Quick start

  1. Subscribe to Arc Research Starter (or sign in if you already have it).
  2. Open Account → MCP access.
  3. For Claude.ai, add a custom connector pointed at https://www.getarcresearch.com/mcp and sign in — it lands under Connections. For Cursor, Claude Code, or Perplexity, create a token and send Authorization: Bearer ….

Capabilities

  • Knowledge graph — search concepts, inspect neighborhoods, and explain paths between themes.
  • Market data — resolve commodities and tickers, futures quotes, pinned hubs.
