Fantastic plug-in connector
I downloaded this plug-in when I saw Seedprod post about it and wow – it is fantastic. Via the connection with the AI model that we use, we have been able to run scans on various areas of our website that I was looking to improve, identify issues, improvements and then suggest changes where relevant. I was halfway through going page-by-page on our site to implement some of these changes, when I realised I could just ask our AI model to do the changes itself, via this connector.
In less than a week it has probably done what would have taken me a month of full time work.
I am very grateful that there is a free daily allowance, but you should really be charging for this!
(Please keep it free for me as I am an early adopter 🤣)

Best WordPress plugin by far
It works. Better than good. I waited a long time for something this smooth and all the email marketing preaching this plugin caught my attention. I gave it a try and haven’t been disappointed once. Connection between AI and WordPress works great and was easy to setup. Actual plugin doesn’t require any tweaking.
WPVibe fundamentally changed the way you can edit WordPress sites. Months of work done in hours, seriously. Things you couldn’t do yourself can now be done, fast and effectively via AI. And you can do pretty much anything and beyond.

An outstanding plugin. I’m using it with chatgpt (July 2026) and it’s just amazing. I quickly burned through my free usage each day but I will certainly be upgrading to a paid plan. it’s even better than having an actual human wordpress expert programmer on speed dial because not only is this faster to discuss and chat about what i need, the ai just does it in minutes and it’s there and ready to test on the site.

The only MCP that actually reaches the parts of WordPress that matter
<mark>I’m a founder, not a developer.</mark> I’m building an event directory on WordPress + Voxel and I run almost all of it through Claude — WPVibe is what makes that possible.
The thing that separates it from every other MCP option I’ve tried is reach. Plenty of tools can read posts and flip options. WPVibe gets to theme files, page-builder documents, and WP-CLI. Its Elementor save endpoint writes through the builder’s own path instead of dumping into post meta, so the CSS actually regenerates and the change shows up on the front end — I learned the hard way that the “obvious” shortcut doesn’t do that. There’s also a widget schema endpoint that surfaces control keys I’d otherwise have no way to find; it’s how I tracked down half a dozen undocumented Voxel fields during a sitewide restyle.
Practical stuff too: bulk find-and-replace across a page’s builder data in one call, real file editing, snippet management. Work that used to mean clicking through admin screens for an afternoon now takes a couple of prompts.
One thing to plan around: calls are metered daily, and heavy design or styling sessions burn through them much faster than content work does. Worth sizing your plan for that. Not a knock — just budget for it.
Support is responsive and the plugin is clearly improving fast. Frequently asked questions
Do I need another AI subscription to use WPVibe?
No — that’s the point. You bring the Claude or ChatGPT you already use, and it works on their free plans too. WPVibe never charges for AI inference. Paid WPVibe plans only raise your daily allowance of WordPress actions, which is completely separate from your Claude or ChatGPT limits.
Is it safe to give AI write access to my site?
WPVibe was built around that exact fear. It doesn’t open your site to the world — there’s no public endpoint sitting there for bots to hit. Access runs through WordPress’s own Application Passwords, encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and revocable in one click. Posts default to draft, deletes go to trash, WP-CLI uses a default-deny allowlist, and database queries are read-only unless you approve the change in your browser with a dry-run preview. Every sensitive action lands in an append-only audit log.
Will the AI break my live site?
The whole workflow is draft-first. New pages come in as drafts using your existing theme, and you preview and edit them before anything goes live. Theme work happens in an isolated draft with a private preview URL, and publishing keeps a backup of the old theme files so you can roll back. Your live site isn’t touched until you hit publish.
Is WPVibe free? What are the limits?
The free plan is genuinely usable: every tool and every skill, unlimited connected sites, and a daily allowance of WordPress actions (with a bonus bump your first week to soak up setup). Your account page shows a live percentage of today’s usage, so you’re never guessing. Which AI clients does WPVibe work with?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT (including the official WPVibe connector in ChatGPT Apps), Cursor, Windsurf, and more. Because WPVibe is hosted, it runs right inside the claude.ai and chatgpt.com web apps — no local server to set up.
Is WPVibe a site builder?
Yes and no. WPVibe can build classic themes and pages — but that’s only part of what it does. It’s a general-purpose WordPress MCP server: it also manages content, inspects site health, uploads media, runs 125+ WP-CLI commands, searches stock photos, and interacts with plugin APIs. Think of it as giving your AI full access to the WordPress dashboard — through conversation, not just a page builder.
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. WPVibe is a WordPress MCP server — it gives AI assistants a structured interface to your site for reading content, creating posts, managing media, running WP-CLI commands, and more.
How is WPVibe different from the WordPress MCP Adapter?
The WordPress MCP Adapter is the official WordPress.org project — it runs locally via stdio and works great in desktop clients like Claude Desktop and Cursor. WPVibe adds remote access (so you can use Claude.ai and ChatGPT too), plus WP-CLI, stock photo search, theme building, rendered HTML inspection, and the Abilities API. Both are free.
I already connect my AI with an Application Password. Why WPVibe?
If that setup works for you, you’ve already got the core of it. A raw Application Password can only reach what the REST API exposes, though. WPVibe adds 125+ WP-CLI commands — emulated through PHP, so they work on shared hosting with no shell and no SSH — plus theme-file editing, plugin abilities, and stock photo search. And it adds a safety layer a DIY setup doesn’t have: approval gates, dry-run previews, and an audit log.
Does it work with my page builder?
Yes. It creates and edits pages in Gutenberg, Elementor (v4 included), SeedProd, Divi (Divi 5 included), Beaver Builder, Breakdance, and Bricks, with a built-in skill for each. Kadence and GeneratePress (including GP Premium Elements) are covered too. Global headers and footers work through the Divi Theme Builder, Beaver Themer, and GeneratePress Elements. Pages come back fully editable in your builder, and the cookbook has tested recipes to start from.
Can it handle ACF fields and my other plugins?
Yes. ACF fields are post meta under the hood, and WPVibe reads and writes them properly — including the custom-post-type meta case that makes plain REST/MCP setups silently fail. Other plugins are driven through their own REST APIs or the WordPress Abilities API — WooCommerce, LifterLMS, Rank Math, AIOSEO, and form plugins all work — and for plugins with no API, WP-CLI emulation can still reach their data and options.
Does WPVibe work with my hosting provider?
Yes. It doesn’t matter who hosts your WordPress — if you can log into your wp-admin dashboard, you’re good, and you don’t need a WordPress.com account. Shared hosting, VPS, and managed WordPress (WP Engine, Flywheel, Cloudways) all work. The MCP server runs in the cloud, so your site needs to be reachable over HTTPS. For local development (localhost, .local, .test), expose it with a free Cloudflare Tunnel (cloudflared) and connect using the generated public URL. Full steps here.
Do I need to install a plugin?
Yes. WPVibe requires a small WordPress plugin (WPVibe) on your site. The plugin exposes the secure endpoints WPVibe uses, enforces your WordPress user capabilities on every request, and executes approved operations. Authentication itself uses WordPress’s built-in Application Passwords — the same standard used by Jetpack and the WordPress mobile app. It’s free on WordPress.org.
Can I connect multiple sites?
Yes. Connected sites are unlimited on every plan, including Free. Connect all your WordPress sites to one WPVibe account, switch between them in any AI client conversation, and run plugin and theme updates across all of them from one panel in the chat. Each site is checked before and after its update, and WordPress core updates wait for your approval.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need another AI subscription to use WPVibe?
No — that’s the point. You bring the Claude or ChatGPT you already use, and it works on their free plans too. WPVibe never charges for AI inference. Paid WPVibe plans only raise your daily allowance of WordPress actions, which is completely separate from your Claude or ChatGPT limits.
Is it safe to give AI write access to my site?
WPVibe was built around that exact fear. It doesn’t open your site to the world — there’s no public endpoint sitting there for bots to hit. Access runs through WordPress’s own Application Passwords, encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and revocable in one click. Posts default to draft, deletes go to trash, WP-CLI uses a default-deny allowlist, and database queries are read-only unless you approve the change in your browser with a dry-run preview. Every sensitive action lands in an append-only audit log.
Will the AI break my live site?
The whole workflow is draft-first. New pages come in as drafts using your existing theme, and you preview and edit them before anything goes live. Theme work happens in an isolated draft with a private preview URL, and publishing keeps a backup of the old theme files so you can roll back. Your live site isn’t touched until you hit publish.
Is WPVibe free? What are the limits?

Which AI clients does WPVibe work with?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT (including the official WPVibe connector in ChatGPT Apps), Cursor, Windsurf, and more. Because WPVibe is hosted, it runs right inside the claude.ai and chatgpt.com web apps — no local server to set up.
Is WPVibe a site builder?
Yes and no. WPVibe can build classic themes and pages — but that’s only part of what it does. It’s a general-purpose WordPress MCP server: it also manages content, inspects site health, uploads media, runs 125+ WP-CLI commands, searches stock photos, and interacts with plugin APIs. Think of it as giving your AI full access to the WordPress dashboard — through conversation, not just a page builder.
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. WPVibe is a WordPress MCP server — it gives AI assistants a structured interface to your site for reading content, creating posts, managing media, running WP-CLI commands, and more.
How is WPVibe different from the WordPress MCP Adapter?
The WordPress MCP Adapter is the official WordPress.org project — it runs locally via stdio and works great in desktop clients like Claude Desktop and Cursor. WPVibe adds remote access (so you can use Claude.ai and ChatGPT too), plus WP-CLI, stock photo search, theme building, rendered HTML inspection, and the Abilities API. Both are free.
I already connect my AI with an Application Password. Why WPVibe?
If that setup works for you, you’ve already got the core of it. A raw Application Password can only reach what the REST API exposes, though. WPVibe adds 125+ WP-CLI commands — emulated through PHP, so they work on shared hosting with no shell and no SSH — plus theme-file editing, plugin abilities, and stock photo search. And it adds a safety layer a DIY setup doesn’t have: approval gates, dry-run previews, and an audit log.
Does it work with my page builder?
Yes. It creates and edits pages in Gutenberg, Elementor (v4 included), SeedProd, Divi (Divi 5 included), Beaver Builder, Breakdance, and Bricks, with a built-in skill for each. Kadence and GeneratePress (including GP Premium Elements) are covered too. Global headers and footers work through the Divi Theme Builder, Beaver Themer, and GeneratePress Elements. Pages come back fully editable in your builder, and the cookbook has tested recipes to start from.
Can it handle ACF fields and my other plugins?
Yes. ACF fields are post meta under the hood, and WPVibe reads and writes them properly — including the custom-post-type meta case that makes plain REST/MCP setups silently fail. Other plugins are driven through their own REST APIs or the WordPress Abilities API — WooCommerce, LifterLMS, Rank Math, AIOSEO, and form plugins all work — and for plugins with no API, WP-CLI emulation can still reach their data and options.
Does WPVibe work with my hosting provider?
Yes. It doesn’t matter who hosts your WordPress — if you can log into your wp-admin dashboard, you’re good, and you don’t need a WordPress.com account. Shared hosting, VPS, and managed WordPress (WP Engine, Flywheel, Cloudways) all work. The MCP server runs in the cloud, so your site needs to be reachable over HTTPS. For local development (localhost, .local, .test), expose it with a free Cloudflare Tunnel (cloudflared) and connect using the generated public URL. Full steps here.
Do I need to install a plugin?
Yes. WPVibe requires a small WordPress plugin (WPVibe) on your site. The plugin exposes the secure endpoints WPVibe uses, enforces your WordPress user capabilities on every request, and executes approved operations. Can I connect multiple sites?

Is it safe to give AI write access to my site?

Does it work with my page builder?
Yes. It creates and edits pages in Gutenberg, Elementor (v4 included), SeedProd, Divi (Divi 5 included), Beaver Builder, Breakdance, and Bricks, with a built-in skill for each. Kadence and GeneratePress (including GP Premium Elements) are covered too. Global headers and footers work through the Divi Theme Builder, Beaver Themer, and GeneratePress Elements. Pages come back fully editable in your builder, and the cookbook has tested recipes to start from.
Can it handle ACF fields and my other plugins?
Yes. ACF fields are post meta under the hood, and WPVibe reads and writes them properly — including the custom-post-type meta case that makes plain REST/MCP setups silently fail. Other plugins are driven through their own REST APIs or the WordPress Abilities API — WooCommerce, LifterLMS, Rank Math, AIOSEO, and form plugins all work — and for plugins with no API, WP-CLI emulation can still reach their data and options.
Does WPVibe work with my hosting provider?
Yes. It doesn’t matter who hosts your WordPress — if you can log into your wp-admin dashboard, you’re good, and you don’t need a WordPress.com account. Shared hosting, VPS, and managed WordPress (WP Engine, Flywheel, Cloudways) all work. The MCP server runs in the cloud, so your site needs to be reachable over HTTPS. Do I need to install a plugin?

This plugin is powerful enough in its generous free version, but the more calls you make, the more incredible your workflow will become. It saves me hours of work with publishing alone, but it does so much more.

Do I need another AI subscription to use WPVibe?
No — that’s the point. You bring the Claude or ChatGPT you already use, and it works on their free plans too. WPVibe never charges for AI inference. Paid WPVibe plans only raise your daily allowance of WordPress actions, which is completely separate from your Claude or ChatGPT limits.
Is it safe to give AI write access to my site?
WPVibe was built around that exact fear. It doesn’t open your site to the world — there’s no public endpoint sitting there for bots to hit. Access runs through WordPress’s own Application Passwords, encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and revocable in one click. Posts default to draft, deletes go to trash, WP-CLI uses a default-deny allowlist, and database queries are read-only unless you approve the change in your browser with a dry-run preview. Every sensitive action lands in an append-only audit log.
Will the AI break my live site?
The whole workflow is draft-first. New pages come in as drafts using your existing theme, and you preview and edit them before anything goes live. Theme work happens in an isolated draft with a private preview URL, and publishing keeps a backup of the old theme files so you can roll back. Your live site isn’t touched until you hit publish.

Do I need another AI subscription to use WPVibe?
No — that’s the point. You bring the Claude or ChatGPT you already use, and it works on their free plans too. WPVibe never charges for AI inference. Paid WPVibe plans only raise your daily allowance of WordPress actions, which is completely separate from your Claude or ChatGPT limits.
Is it safe to give AI write access to my site?
WPVibe was built around that exact fear. It doesn’t open your site to the world — there’s no public endpoint sitting there for bots to hit. Access runs through WordPress’s own Application Passwords, encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and revocable in one click. Posts default to draft, deletes go to trash, WP-CLI uses a default-deny allowlist, and database queries are read-only unless you approve the change in your browser with a dry-run preview. Every sensitive action lands in an append-only audit log.
Will the AI break my live site?
The whole workflow is draft-first. New pages come in as drafts using your existing theme, and you preview and edit them before anything goes live. Theme work happens in an isolated draft with a private preview URL, and publishing keeps a backup of the old theme files so you can roll back. Your live site isn’t touched until you hit publish.
Is WPVibe free? What are the limits?

Which AI clients does WPVibe work with?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT (including the official WPVibe connector in ChatGPT Apps), Cursor, Windsurf, and more. Because WPVibe is hosted, it runs right inside the claude.ai and chatgpt.com web apps — no local server to set up.
Is WPVibe a site builder?
Yes and no. WPVibe can build classic themes and pages — but that’s only part of what it does. It’s a general-purpose WordPress MCP server: it also manages content, inspects site health, uploads media, runs 125+ WP-CLI commands, searches stock photos, and interacts with plugin APIs. Think of it as giving your AI full access to the WordPress dashboard — through conversation, not just a page builder.
What is an MCP server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. WPVibe is a WordPress MCP server — it gives AI assistants a structured interface to your site for reading content, creating posts, managing media, running WP-CLI commands, and more.
How is WPVibe different from the WordPress MCP Adapter?
The WordPress MCP Adapter is the official WordPress.org project — it runs locally via stdio and works great in desktop clients like Claude Desktop and Cursor. WPVibe adds remote access (so you can use Claude.ai and ChatGPT too), plus WP-CLI, stock photo search, theme building, rendered HTML inspection, and the Abilities API. Both are free.
I already connect my AI with an Application Password. Why WPVibe?
If that setup works for you, you’ve already got the core of it. A raw Application Password can only reach what the REST API exposes, though. WPVibe adds 125+ WP-CLI commands — emulated through PHP, so they work on shared hosting with no shell and no SSH — plus theme-file editing, plugin abilities, and stock photo search. And it adds a safety layer a DIY setup doesn’t have: approval gates, dry-run previews, and an audit log.
Does it work with my page builder?
Yes. It creates and edits pages in Gutenberg, Elementor (v4 included), SeedProd, Divi (Divi 5 included), Beaver Builder, Breakdance, and Bricks, with a built-in skill for each. Kadence and GeneratePress (including GP Premium Elements) are covered too. Global headers and footers work through the Divi Theme Builder, Beaver Themer, and GeneratePress Elements. Pages come back fully editable in your builder, and the cookbook has tested recipes to start from.
Can it handle ACF fields and my other plugins?
Yes. ACF fields are post meta under the hood, and WPVibe reads and writes them properly — including the custom-post-type meta case that makes plain REST/MCP setups silently fail. Other plugins are driven through their own REST APIs or the WordPress Abilities API — WooCommerce, LifterLMS, Rank Math, AIOSEO, and form plugins all work — and for plugins with no API, WP-CLI emulation can still reach their data and options.
Does WPVibe work with my hosting provider?
Yes. It doesn’t matter who hosts your WordPress — if you can log into your wp-admin dashboard, you’re good, and you don’t need a WordPress.com account. Shared hosting, VPS, and managed WordPress (WP Engine, Flywheel, Cloudways) all work. The MCP server runs in the cloud, so your site needs to be reachable over HTTPS. Is it safe to give AI write access to my site?
WPVibe was built around that exact fear. It doesn’t open your site to the world — there’s no public endpoint sitting there for bots to hit. Access runs through WordPress’s own Application Passwords, encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and revocable in one click. Posts default to draft, deletes go to trash, WP-CLI uses a default-deny allowlist, and database queries are read-only unless you approve the change in your browser with a dry-run preview. Will the AI break my live site?

I already connect my AI with an Application Password. Why WPVibe?

Does it work with my page builder?
