Frequently asked questions

Who can use MCP and CLI?

An active paid subscription is required. MCP and CLI access is available only with an active paid subscription. Credit-pack purchases alone, free accounts, unpaid trials and admin-granted Pro do not qualify.

Use the same credits as the Wan27 website. Generations deduct credits at the corresponding website model price. Credit packs can add to your balance while subscribed, but do not replace a subscription.

When your subscription expires or becomes inactive, MCP and CLI stop accepting new requests. Tasks already created keep running and stay visible on the website. Turning off renewal preserves access until the current paid period ends.

Do I need another balance or an API key?

No separate wallet or API key is needed. Sign in through your browser and use the same website credits at the corresponding model price. Upgrade or top up on the website; your agent does not process payments.

Which clients can I connect?

Sign in with the CLI, then add it as a local MCP server in Codex, Claude Code or Cursor. You can also use the CLI directly from your terminal.

Can I use a reference image?

Yes. Run wan27 upload with a PNG, JPEG or WebP under 5 MiB to get an https URL. Pass it in imageUrls for image models, or as imageUrl for image-to-video.

What if a request is interrupted?

Retry with the same request ID. It returns the same task and is never charged twice. The CLI prints the request ID and retries transient failures with it automatically. A wait timeout does not cancel a task.

What happens to failed tasks and expired subscriptions?

Failed tasks are refunded automatically. When your subscription ends, MCP and CLI stop accepting new requests; tasks already created keep running and appear on the website.

Where do I get results and revoke access?

A succeeded task lists download URLs in outputs, or run wan27 download. Run wan27 auth logout to disconnect the CLI. Changing your website password disconnects every assistant.
