Not a new inbox and not a webmail client. Mailroom is a remote MCP server: one URL and one API key, and your assistant can work with the mail you already get.

Triage in seconds

Ask your assistant what needs a reply, search by sender or keyword, and read full messages without switching apps.

Keep things organized

Flag, mark read, move messages between folders, and send mail to Trash from a single prompt. Deleting moves mail to Trash; emptying Trash is a separate, confirmed step.

Safe sending

send_email returns a preview first. Nothing goes out until the call is repeated with confirm=true.

Works with any MCP client

Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Desktop (via mcp-remote), VS Code, and other clients that support remote MCP with custom headers.

Built to be careful with your mail

Encrypted credentials

App passwords are encrypted at rest with per-secret keys (envelope encryption). They are only decrypted to talk to your mail server during a tool call.

No message storage

Mail is fetched live from your server on each call. We don't store subjects or bodies. Usage logs record only the tool name and time.

Hashed API keys

Keys are stored as hashes and shown once. Rotate or revoke them any time from the dashboard.

You stay in control

Deleting a message only moves it to Trash; permanent deletion needs a separate, confirmed empty_trash call. Disconnect your mailbox or delete your Mailroom account yourself at any time.
