Draw what's hard to put into words
"That button, a bit below the top right." Pointing at a spot in words is harder than it sounds. SKETCHTALK gives you two ways. Preview what you're building and draw marks on it. Or draw a picture and hand it over. Talking, and writing and fixing the files, all happen in the Claude Code you already use. Terminal, VS Code or the desktop app: any of them works.

Draw on the preview, get it fixed
Your web page or app runs right inside SKETCHTALK. Circle or arrow the spot and say fix this in the conversation. Claude sees the marks, makes the change, and the preview reloads right there.
Marks stick to the page and move with it when you scroll. Marks Claude has seen stay as faded dotted lines, so you can draw the next fix straight away. No screenshots to take and paste.

Draw it and hand it over
A character, a floor plan, a game stage, a diagram. Draw it on the Draw screen, say look at my drawing, and it goes straight to Claude.
Group shapes and name them, and you can ask by name: "move Mame-kun to the right".
Not a frozen screenshot. The real thing, running.
The web pages and the Mac, iPhone and iPad apps you're building preview right inside SKETCHTALK, running live.
Get to the exact moment you want to talk about yourself: click, scroll, play, watch. Stop where you want and draw on top.

Claude can open it, click it and check it too
Claude Code opens pages in SKETCHTALK, clicks buttons, types, and reads the text to check how things work after a fix. The spot Claude clicked shows on screen, so you can watch on the same screen.
This uses no ink and is free. It can stand in for browser automation tools like Playwright.

Mirror the app you're building
For iPhone, iPad and Mac apps and games, the window is mirrored into SKETCHTALK and you mark it up just like a web page. Marks follow when it scrolls.
You use the mirrored app itself to interact with it. Mirroring a real device needs iPadOS / iOS 27 or later and Xcode.

At iPhone and iPad sizes too
Pick the preview size from PC, iPhone and iPad models. 3D, audio, spreadsheet files and more open in a view that suits them, ready to mark up.
Three steps, with the Claude Code you already use
SKETCHTALK works beside Claude Code. Install Claude Code yourself and make sure it works first (Terminal, VS Code, or Code in the Claude desktop app — any of them).
Install
Get SKETCHTALK from the Mac App Store and open it.
"Allow and Connect"
A Connect to Claude Code screen appears. In the Mac window that opens next, just press "Allow and Connect".
Draw and talk
In Claude Code, say open it in SKETCHTALK. Draw your marks on the screen and say what you want in the conversation.

Prefer not to grant permission? Copy one sentence with the button, paste it into a Claude Code conversation and send it.
Claude does the saving too. For example, ask save this as "Original Game 1", and later say continue Original Game 1 to pick up where you left off.
Free, with fresh ink every day
Each time you hand Claude new marks or a drawing, one ink is used. While you have ink, every feature works.
Free
10 ink a day
30 a day for the first 3 days. Refilled at midnight.
Opening, reading or filling in pages, and having Claude re-check the same marks, use no ink. Follow-ups drawn on your previous marks are free, up to 3 times.
Unlimited Ink
$9.99 one-time
Removes the ink limit. Not a subscription.
On another Mac or after reinstalling, use "Restore Purchase".
Ink is SKETCHTALK's own allowance, separate from your Claude usage limits. Using SKETCHTALK adds nothing to what you pay for Claude (your Claude usage limits stay as your plan sets them).
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about using SKETCHTALK.
What is SKETCHTALK?
SKETCHTALK is a Mac app by twelvetone inc. (Japan) that you use alongside Claude Code. It is on the Mac App Store as “SKETCHTALK – Draw to AI” and is free to download. It shows the web page, game or app you're building while it runs; you circle or arrow the spot and say “fix this” in Claude Code. It also draws on the iOS Simulator, a cabled iPhone or iPad, and Mac app windows. It is a different product from other apps or podcasts named SketchTalk.
Can I use it if I can't code?
Yes. SKETCHTALK has no screen that shows code. You draw on the screen and ask in the conversation. Claude Code does the building and fixing, so you need Claude Code installed and working.
What do I need? Does it work on Windows or iPad?
A Mac and Claude Code. Claude Code can be in Terminal, VS Code, or Code in the Claude desktop app. In the desktop app, click “</>” (Code) at the top left and start the session on this computer (local); it won’t work from a regular chat or a cloud session. SKETCHTALK is a Mac app and doesn't run on Windows or iPad (though you can mirror an iPad or iPhone screen onto your Mac and draw on it).
What should I say?
Just ask in your Claude Code conversation in plain words. open … in SKETCHTALK shows what you're building, or a website. After drawing marks, say fix this or line it up with this line; for the Draw screen, say look at my drawing. You don't need to write requests on the SKETCHTALK screen.
How do I remove marks? What happens to old marks?
In the toolbar, Undo (⌘Z) removes the last mark, Clear old marks removes marks Claude has already seen, and Clear all removes every mark. Marks Claude has seen stay as faded dotted lines, so you can draw the next fix straight away.
Where is my work saved? How do I pick it up later?
You don't need to prepare a folder to start. When you want to keep it, ask save this as "Original Game 1" and it's saved by name in the "SKETCHTALK" folder in your home folder. There's no save button: Claude does the saving. To pick it up later, say continue Original Game 1 in a new conversation. Just resuming a conversation does not reopen the old folder.
Can I use it in several conversations at once?
Yes. Each Claude Code conversation gets its own SKETCHTALK tab, and a conversation never writes into another conversation's tab. Claude names each tab after what the conversation is about. ⇧⌘T reopens a tab you closed by mistake.
Does it work with pages that need a login, like Gmail?
Yes. Works with Google pages like Gmail and Google Analytics too. Sign in with Google Chrome. Logins are shared across SKETCHTALK tabs.
Do I need to keep SKETCHTALK open?
No. Even if SKETCHTALK is closed, it opens automatically when Claude needs it.
Does it work with folders outside my home folder (an external disk, a shared folder)?
Yes. The first time Claude opens such a folder, a permission window appears in SKETCHTALK. Press "Allow and Open". If you choose a folder higher up (such as the top of your work area), everything inside it opens without asking from then on.
Does it cost anything extra for Claude?
No. You talk in the Claude Code you already use, and Claude costs stay on your usual plan. SKETCHTALK's "ink" is SKETCHTALK's own allowance, separate from your Claude usage limits. Your Claude usage limits themselves don't go up or down.
What is ink, and what happens when it runs out?
One ink is used each time you hand Claude new marks or a changed drawing. You get 10 free a day (30 a day for the first 3 days), refilled at midnight. At 0 you can still draw and view pages, and your marks stay on screen; you just can't hand over new marks until the next day. Unlimited Ink ($9.99, one-time) removes the limit.
Is what's on my screen sent anywhere?
Window mirroring doesn't record or send anything anywhere. Your marks and drawings go to the Claude Code running on your Mac. The one exception is the translate button: only when you press it, the page text is sent to Google Translate.
Is this made by Anthropic?
No. SKETCHTALK is made by twelvetone inc. as an app to use with Claude Code. It isn't affiliated with Anthropic.
How does it connect to Claude Code?
Claude Code calls SKETCHTALK, running on your Mac, as a tool (through MCP). Pressing "Allow and Connect" registers it automatically. SKETCHTALK itself never connects to Claude over the internet.
