About OpenKrill
OpenKrill builds Agent Tools: MCP servers and HTTP APIs that AI agents call for live public data. The tools are free to use, with no sign-up and no API key, within rate and daily limits. Our paid service is managed tasks: a person runs our agents on your task and checks the result, for a fixed quote paid through escrow on Deel or Upwork. The paid service is described at https://tools.openkrill.app/managed-agents. Fixed-price services, each with what you get, the price and the turnaround, are listed at https://tools.openkrill.app/services. Packages with their own page, price and order button: Mailfix at https://tools.openkrill.app/mailfix, Dependency report at https://tools.openkrill.app/devdeps, Reference check at https://tools.openkrill.app/papers, AI search readiness audit at https://tools.openkrill.app/aiready, Store Watch at https://tools.openkrill.app/storewatch, TikTok starter pack at https://tools.openkrill.app/tiktok-pack, HTS codes and landed cost at https://tools.openkrill.app/tradecodes, Cloudflare bill sheet at https://tools.openkrill.app/cfbill, Marketing brain starter at https://tools.openkrill.app/mktbrain. To reach us, email support@openkrill.app.
For developers: the HTTP API, MCP and limits
Agent Tools by OpenKrill provides free Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and streamable HTTP data APIs for AI coding assistants, autonomous agents, and developers worldwide. Connect live tools for YouTube transcripts, company job boards, app store reviews, public X posts, and CVE vulnerability lookups with zero API keys at openkrill.app. Answers are cached at edge nodes, so repeat requests come back from cache.
The Agent Tools API at https://api.openkrill.app serves these tools:
- YouTube transcripts (
get_transcript), coming soon: the transcript of a video as timestamped segments, plain text, SRT or VTT, in the language you ask for. Cached 30 days. - Job boards (
list_jobs): open jobs at companies on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable or SmartRecruiters, with keyword, location, remote and department filters. Cached 1 hour. - App reviews (
get_app_reviews): app metadata and recent reviews from Google Play and the iOS App Store, by country and language. Cached 6 hours. - X posts (
read_x_post): the text, author, media, quoted post and public counts of X posts from their URLs, the title and body text of X articles, plus the author's earlier posts in a thread. Replies are not available without a login. Cached 15 minutes.
HTTP
curl "https://api.openkrill.app/v1/tools/job-boards/run?companies=greenhouse:airbnb&maxJobsPerCompany=5"
No key is needed. Calls without one are limited to 20 a minute and 200 tool calls a day per network, and a limit is answered with HTTP 429 and Retry-After. An API key, sent in x-api-key, is optional and lifts those limits.
Every response says whether it was a cache HIT, MISS or STALE. A request that takes too long is answered with a job id and a poll URL, and the finished result is then served from that URL.
MCP
Point an MCP client at https://api.openkrill.app/mcp (streamable HTTP, no key needed; an optional key in x-api-key lifts the limits). tools/list returns the tools that are live; YouTube transcripts join them soon.
Full notes on every tool: what it reads, its limits and its MCP address
Company Jobs Finder answers questions like "is Notion hiring designers?" inside ChatGPT, from the same public job boards, and can rank those jobs against a short work profile you give it, brief you on one posting, and check which words recruiters search for are missing from a profile text you paste. Its MCP server is https://jobs.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Live Card turns a cover and a short animation, both supplied as HTML, into an Apple Live Photo plus an MP4 and a GIF, with a download link that works for 24 hours. Its MCP server is https://livecard.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. Pass the still as cover_html and the animation as motion_html, each at most 60,000 characters; duration_ms runs from 500 to 3000 at an fps of 15 or 30, and width and height go up to 1080 by 1440. The animation is drawn on a virtual clock, one frame every 1000/fps ms from its start state, so CSS animations, transitions and requestAnimationFrame play at their real speed. It does not write the design and it refuses remote images.
Document Tools counts words, characters and SMS segments and makes calendar (.ics) and CSV files inside ChatGPT, with a download link that works for 24 hours. Its MCP server is https://docs.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
CVE Risk Check answers "how bad is this CVE?", "which should I patch first?" and, for a package-lock.json, package.json or requirements.txt, "which 3 packages should I fix first, and to which version?" inside ChatGPT. It uses the National Vulnerability Database, OSV.dev, the CISA exploited-vulnerabilities list and FIRST's EPSS scores, with the date of each. Its MCP server is https://cve.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. It looks up CVE ids and package versions; it does not scan your systems or tell you whether your code reaches the vulnerable function.
Domain Mail Check checks a domain's email setup inside ChatGPT: whether a new sending domain is ready for cold email (a score from 0 to 100 and a verdict from its SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, domain age and name pattern, each rule marked as a published requirement or as opinion, with its source), whether Gmail and Outlook will likely accept its mail (one verdict, the top 3 causes and a fix for each, from the published sender rules and 6 free blocklists), SPF, DMARC and DKIM with an A to F grade and a list of fixes, its DNS records (MX, TXT, CAA and more), and its registrar and expiry date from the registry, with the date of each. Its MCP server is https://mailcheck.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. It reads public records; it does not send mail or return who owns a domain.
Taste Profile turns the reference images you own into a design taste profile inside ChatGPT: add up to four images at a time (links or uploads) to a profile of at most 30, search it by words or by another image, get concrete layout, colour palette (with hex codes), type, texture and hierarchy rules, and save the rules you confirm so later tasks can read them. Images are analysed with Cloudflare Workers AI and are not stored; the descriptions are kept 90 days after last use and can be deleted at any time. Its MCP server is https://taste.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key or account. It does not collect images from Pinterest, Behance or other sites.
Country Stats Facts looks up official country statistics inside ChatGPT: population, GDP, GDP per capita, growth, inflation, unemployment, life expectancy and more from the World Bank, a ranked comparison of up to six countries, and the IMF's growth, inflation and debt projections, each with its year, source and date. Its MCP server is https://countrystats.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. It returns annual statistics only: no live prices, exchange rates or advice.
Post Kit prepares social posts inside ChatGPT: one draft per platform (X, Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok) checked against that platform's length, hashtag and title rules with a checklist, a 25-second short-form video script (hook, body, call to action) for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels or X video with each platform's official length limit and the AI-content label that applies when it declares an AI-generated person or voice, an adaptation of your own post for another language and market, a self-contained animated HTML launch clip made from your own product page, and 3 or 4 TikTok slideshows of 5 slides each as 1080x1920 PNG files with a caption and hashtags. Its MCP server is https://postkit.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. It never posts for you, reads no accounts or statistics, and is free while the shared daily writing allowance lasts.
Tax Numbers answers US federal tax questions inside ChatGPT: brackets, the standard deduction, mileage rates, retirement limits, deadlines and a simple estimate, each figure with the IRS document it came from. Its MCP server is https://tax.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. It is not tax advice.
Dev Facts Check answers the reference questions developers ask inside ChatGPT: when a software version reaches end of life, what an SPDX license is and whether it is OSI approved, which browsers support a web feature and whether it is Baseline, and what an RFC says and which RFCs replace it, each with its source and the date of the data. Its MCP server is https://devfacts.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Paper Finder finds research papers inside ChatGPT: a topic search across Europe PMC and Crossref, an arXiv preprint search, and a lookup of one paper by DOI, PubMed id or arXiv id with its abstract and a free full-text link when the index confirms one, each with its source and the date it was read. It does not check retractions or reference lists, which Citation Checker does. Its MCP server is https://papers.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Market Indicators calculates technical indicators inside ChatGPT: SMA, EMA, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, ATR, stochastic and VWAP over candles you paste, and close-based indicators over the European Central Bank's daily euro reference rates for currency pairs, each with the latest value, a short series, the source and the date of the last price. The maths is done by the MIT-licensed trading-signals library. It is informational only and not financial advice: it gives no buy or sell signals and has no trading features. Its MCP server is https://indicators.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Store Price Tracker answers "track competitor prices on this store" and "what did this store change?" inside ChatGPT, from the public product feed that Shopify stores publish. Its MCP server is https://stores.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Shop Duty Desk answers "what EU duty applies to these order lines?" and "which products in my Shopify inventory export have no HS code?" inside ChatGPT, from the EU customs rule for low-value consignments, the UK and US tariffs and your CSV. Its MCP server is https://shopduty.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Industry Pulse answers "what happened in AI coding agents today?" and "what do people complain about in Cursor?" inside ChatGPT: events grouped from publishers' feeds and Hacker News with a score, a heat count and source links, and counted complaints and praises from public posts. Its MCP server is https://pulse.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Catalog QA Desk answers "will this Shopify CSV import cleanly?" and "which products fail Google Merchant Center checks or have no image alt text?" inside ChatGPT, from your product CSV or a store's public product feed. Its MCP server is https://catalogqa.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
AI Text Check answers "which parts of this draft read like AI writing?" inside ChatGPT, with the exact place, a severity and a plain fix for each finding. It uses fixed rules, not an AI model, and never stores your text. Its MCP server is https://aitext.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Package Health Check answers "is lodash 4.17.15 vulnerable?", "is this npm package maintained?" and "check my package.json for known vulnerabilities" inside ChatGPT, from OSV.dev, the npm registry, PyPI and deps.dev. Its MCP server is https://packages.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Transcript Kit answers "transcribe this recording and give me captions" and "what are the best 60 seconds of this talk?" inside ChatGPT, for audio and video you own. It returns a timestamped transcript with SRT and VTT captions, searches your recent transcripts, suggests clips as text and translates captions into about 100 languages with a dub script. Its MCP server is https://transcript.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Video Grab answers "find a freely licensed video of ocean waves" and "how do I download my own YouTube videos?" inside ChatGPT. It searches Wikimedia Commons and the Internet Archive, and uses the YouTube Data API for public metadata when that key is configured. Pexels and Pixabay stay off until their keys exist, and the answer says so. It does not download other people's platform videos or remove watermarks. Its MCP server is https://videograb.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Ad Angle Map answers "how do these stores price and bundle, which angles are these ads missing, and which ad type fits this buyer?" inside ChatGPT, from public Shopify product feeds and ads you paste in. An offer map is product pages and prices, not ads. Its MCP server is https://adangle.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Trade Chart answers "show me a candlestick chart of this ticker" inside ChatGPT, with volume, the indicators you name, and a plain-language read of the last price. It reads public prices only, places no orders, and is not financial advice. Its MCP server is https://chart.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Startup Name Check answers "is acme.com available?" or "find an available .com for my bakery name" inside ChatGPT. It asks Cloudflare Registrar when that lookup is configured, and the public registration lookup (RDAP) of each domain's registry otherwise. Its MCP server is https://names.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Recall Check answers questions like "does my 2018 Honda Accord have any recalls?" or "was there a recall on this infant formula?" inside ChatGPT, from the public NHTSA, CPSC and FDA recall data (US only, not a safety guarantee). Its MCP server is https://recalls.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Citation Checker answers "are these references real?" and "has this paper been retracted?" inside ChatGPT, from Crossref, the DOI system and OpenAlex. Its MCP server is https://citations.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Travel Check answers "what is the travel advice for Thailand?" or "is JFK delayed right now?" inside ChatGPT, from UK GOV.UK travel advice, US State Department advisories, the FAA and the Aviation Weather Center. Its tools are get_travel_advice, get_airport_status and compare_advisories, and its MCP server is https://travel.openkrill.app/mcp with no key.
Food Facts answers "what is in the product with barcode 3017620422003?" or "does this product contain milk?" inside ChatGPT, from the Open Food Facts database. Its tools are lookup_barcode, search_products, compare_products and check_allergens, and its MCP server is https://food.openkrill.app/mcp with no key. Entries are community-contributed, so the physical label always wins.
Car Check answers "what car is this VIN?", "any recalls on a 2018 Toyota Camry?" or "what mpg does a 2022 RAV4 hybrid get?" inside ChatGPT, from the US NHTSA and EPA. Its tools are decode_vin, get_vehicle_report, list_recalls and get_fuel_economy, and its MCP server is https://cars.openkrill.app/mcp with no key. It covers US vehicles, lists recalls by model rather than VIN, and is not a valuation, history report or advice.
Business Days & Workday Calc answers "how many working days between 14 July and 18 August in Germany?", "what date is 37 business days after 11 August in England?" and "what are the public holidays in Bavaria?" inside ChatGPT, from the Nager.Date and OpenHolidays calendars, and says how it counted. Its MCP server is https://businessdays.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. Country calendars with the tool's own 2026 counts: Germany, England, United States, France, Vietnam, Ontario.
Tariff & HS Code Duty Finder answers "what is the tariff code for a ceramic flower pot in the UK?" and "what is the US duty on HTS 8507.60.00?" inside ChatGPT, from the UK Trade Tariff and the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule. The codes it finds are candidates, not a binding classification. Its MCP server is https://tariffs.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
EU Business & VAT Checker answers "is DE 811128135 a valid VAT number?" and "what is the LEI of Siemens AG?" inside ChatGPT, from the European Commission VIES service, the GLEIF LEI index and the French and Norwegian company registers. It shows names only for legal entities, never a private person. Its MCP server is https://eubusiness.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
US Federal Regulations (CFR) answers "what does 21 CFR 11.10 say?" and "what has the FDA proposed on food dyes?" inside ChatGPT, from the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations and the Federal Register. It is general information, not legal advice. Its MCP server is https://rules.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Site SEO & AI Crawler Audit answers "does this site let AI crawlers in?", "which share tags is my page missing?" "where does this link redirect to?" and "what could a visitor trip over on this landing page?" inside ChatGPT. It reads only the public robots.txt and page head of a site you name, never a private network address. It is a report on what a site says, not a security scan. Its MCP server is https://sitecheck.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
LP Pool Check reads liquidity-pool volume, TVL and fee APR over 1-day and 7-day windows inside ChatGPT, flags whether a high APR looks like ongoing trading or a short spike, and estimates whether fees cover impermanent loss for a range and holding period you supply. Its MCP server is https://lpcheck.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. It is a reading of public figures, not financial advice, and it cannot place a trade.
SEO Audit answers "what SEO problems does example.com have?" and "is this local business site ready to be named in AI search?" inside ChatGPT. It reads up to 25 pages of the site you name, with robots.txt respected, and lists the rules that failed by priority with the pages affected and the Google Search Central source of each rule. local_ai_readiness scores that site's own pages and does not query AI engines or directories. check_ai_instructions reports llms.txt, llms-full.txt, an AI instructions page, home-page links, and whether the file matches the site's own name, products and facts. generate_ai_instructions drafts an llms.txt for the owner to review and does not publish it. A public post is cited as the reason; neither tool promises a change in AI Overviews. An optional judgement step, off by default and limited per day, asks a language model service what pages are for. It is a report on what a site serves, not a ranking or traffic tool. Its MCP server is https://seoaudit.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Hire or Automate answers "which tasks of this job can AI do, and which need a person?" inside ChatGPT, from the O*NET 31.0 Database (U.S. Department of Labor, CC BY 4.0). It tags each task, and drafts a job ad for the human tasks plus a two-week trial template. Its MCP server is https://hire.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key. It does not decide who to hire.
Buyer Signals answers "which software companies filed a Form D in California in the last two weeks?" "what do people complain about in monitoring tools?" and "who asked for an SEO audit this week?" inside ChatGPT, from SEC Form D filings, public job boards, Hacker News and Stack Exchange, with a date and a source link for every signal. It also finds public Hacker News and Stack Exchange posts where someone asks for a service, with a link, a date, a short quote, a score and the reason, and gives a 7-day brief. Scores come from plain rules, not from an AI model. It returns companies, counts and short quotes of public posts only, never named people or contact details. Its MCP server is https://signals.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Outreach Desk scores the inbound pitches you paste against your own criteria (target role, skills, salary floor, remote policy and dealbreakers) inside ChatGPT, keeps a private scoreboard per sender and drafts a reply. It needs no mailbox access, never stores the message text or the sender's contact details, and deletes its records after 30 days. Its MCP server is https://outreachdesk.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no sign-up: the first call creates a desk and returns its own desk key.
Send Out turns an assistant's output into ready-to-send links and files inside ChatGPT: email drafts, Google Calendar events, WhatsApp and X share links, Obsidian notes, and .eml, .ics and Markdown files. Each link opens in your own app, so you check the draft and press send yourself; nothing is sent from our server and nothing is stored. Its MCP server is https://sendout.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Lane Planner answers "I have 6 interests and 10 hours a week, plan my next week" and "here is my list with what I ticked, plan next week". It keeps one build lane, one reading lane, one side quest and a parking lot with bookmarks, writes a dated checklist whose minutes add up to your hours, and reviews the ticked list into the next plan. It is a planning tool only and stores nothing. Its MCP server is https://lanes.openkrill.app/mcp and needs no key.
Remote Jobs by Country answers "remote software jobs I can get from Vietnam" and "crypto jobs that hire from Brazil" inside ChatGPT. It reads public company job boards (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and more) and remote job feeds that allow reuse, and gives each job a verdict for your country: open when the post includes your country or hires from anywhere, unclear when the post names no limit, with a one-line reason quoting the post. Jobs that rule your country out are never shown. The same index is a page at /remote-jobs. Its MCP server is https://remotejobs.openkrill.app/mcp.
Frequently asked questions
What is Agent Tools and how do AI assistants use it?
Agent Tools provides live public data tools for AI agents and developers over HTTP and Model Context Protocol (MCP). AI assistants connect to the MCP server endpoint to call tools for job listings, app reviews, domain checks, security advisories, and public records.
Do I need an API key or an account to use these tools?
No account or API key is required to start. Requests without a key use a shared network allowance with rate limits. An optional API key sent in the x-api-key header lifts those limits. Keys come from support@openkrill.app.
What are the anonymous rate limits and caching policies?
Anonymous requests without an API key are limited to 20 requests per minute and 200 tool calls per day per network. Responses are cached at edge nodes with cache status returned as HIT, MISS, or STALE. Repeat requests are served directly from cache.
Which AI clients are supported?
Any client supporting Model Context Protocol streamable HTTP can connect, including Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and Pi. Detailed install instructions and configuration examples are provided for each client.
What is the difference between the HTTP API and the MCP server?
The HTTP API serves standard JSON responses over REST endpoints at api.openkrill.app. The MCP server implements the Model Context Protocol over streamable HTTP at api.openkrill.app/mcp, exposing tool schemas and executing tools/call requests directly within AI workflows.
