Connected in about a minute
The server is hosted by us. You only tell your assistant where it is and who you are.
- 1
Get your key
Start a trial or log in, then open Settings in the dashboard. Your MCP API key is waiting there, and you can replace it whenever you like. - 2
Paste it into your assistant
Add the server address and your key to Claude, Cursor, VS Code or any other assistant that supports MCP. There is nothing to install. - 3
Ask in plain language
Paste an event link and ask about prices, fees, sections or availability. The assistant fetches live data and answers in seconds.
Full instructions for every client are in the setup guide.
In Claude, add a custom connector with these values.

What your assistant can do
Four tools, all read-only. The assistant picks the right one from your question and tells you what it called.

1 credit
compare_marketplaces

1 report + up to 12 credits

Built so you can trust the answer
Live, never cached
Every question triggers a fresh fetch from the marketplace at that moment. The assistant never answers from yesterday's prices.
The same data as the API
The assistant receives the complete response our API returns, unchanged. Whatever your own code would see, it sees.
It can look, not touch
Every tool is read-only. The key cannot change your plan, your billing or your password, and you can replace it in one click.
Your credits are protected
MCP use is capped at 30 calls a minute and 1,000 a day per account, so an assistant stuck in a loop cannot drain your plan.
Common questions
What is the TicketsData MCP server?
It is a connection between AI assistants and the TicketsData API, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, an assistant such as Claude or Cursor can fetch live ticket listings, prices and fees for you whenever you ask, without you writing any code.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and any other MCP client, including your own AI agents, that can connect to a remote server with an Authorization header. You add the server address and your MCP API key once, and the tools appear in your assistant.
Which ticket marketplaces can it read?
Ten: Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, Gametime, TickPick, viagogo, DICE, Eventbrite and AXS. AXS is included on Pro plans and above. The cross-marketplace comparison covers the seven resale and primary marketplaces that list the same events.
Is the ticket data live?
Yes. Every call fetches prices and inventory from the marketplace at that moment. Nothing is cached, on any plan, so the assistant always works from current listings.
Does the MCP server cost extra?
No. It is included on every plan and uses your normal credits: 1 credit for listings or event discovery, and 1 report plus up to 12 credits for a cross-marketplace comparison, which needs a Pro plan or above.
How do I get an MCP API key?
Every TicketsData account has one, including trial accounts. Log in, open Settings in the dashboard and copy it from the MCP Access section. You can regenerate it there at any time, and the old key stops working within a minute.
Can an AI assistant use up all my credits?
MCP access is limited to 30 calls a minute and 1,000 calls every 24 hours per account, with one cross-marketplace report at a time. Those limits exist to stop an assistant that gets stuck repeating itself. For bulk or scheduled work, use the REST API.
Can the assistant change anything in my account?
No. All four tools only read ticket data. The MCP API key cannot change your plan, billing or password, and it only works for MCP connections. The REST API keeps using your email and password.
Do I need to be a developer to use it?
No. If you can paste a link into a chat, you can use it. Developers get the same thing inside their coding tools, which is useful for exploring responses before writing an integration against the REST API.
