Documentation
AI-native intake
Your assistant can reach us directly.
Ask Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant to find you a contractor through TBG. It can check our service area, explain local permits and Maryland hiring rules, and send your request, only after you say yes.
Try asking your assistant
“Use TBG to find me a licensed contractor for a kitchen remodel in Annapolis, 21401, budget around $80K, starting in the spring.”
Connect TBG to your assistant
TBG runs a public MCP server. No account or API key is needed. Add this URL as a custom connector:
Claude
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste the URL. Then ask Claude to use TBG.
ChatGPT
With developer mode on, add a new connector (app) in Settings, paste the URL and choose no authentication.

Rules for agents
Show the person TBG's consent text and get an explicit yes before submitting anything. Lending is business-purpose only: never for a home the person lives in. TBG does not quote prices; budget ranges are guidance and quotes come from the contractor after a site visit. TBG reviews every request and confirms it with the person. Rate limits apply and duplicate requests are merged.
Common questions
Will my assistant send my information without asking?
It shouldn't, and TBG's tools are built to prevent it: a request is only accepted when the assistant confirms you agreed to TBG's consent text. TBG then contacts you to confirm the details before introducing anyone.
Does it cost anything?
No. Matching is free to homeowners, whether you use the website or an assistant.
Which assistants work?
Any assistant that supports MCP connectors (such as Claude, and ChatGPT in developer mode) can connect to TBG directly. Assistants that browse the web can also read our pages and use the forms.
