Clear credit-based pricing
Six query tools, with an explicit cost per function.

MCP plans do not replace your monitoring subscription.
Built around your existing AI workspace.

From a quick status checkto a deeper outage investigation.
Choose the function that fits your question. The credit cost is defined per query, not by how many people use your paid plan.
01 / STATUS10 credits
Status query
Ask about the status of a monitored service and get available outage context.
“Is Netflix down?”
02 / HISTORY50 credits
Historical data
Read available daily community-report history, up to 31 days. Precise incident times and regions remain unknown unless recorded.
“Show Slack’s outage reports for last month.”
03 / GEOGRAPHY50 credits
Geography report
Explore outage reports associated with a country or region where geographic data is available.
“What are the outages in Singapore?”
04 / INDICATORS30 credits
Problem indicator
Compare provider status evidence with recent community reports. Root causes, private APIs and endpoint diagnoses are not inferred.
“What disruption indicators are recorded for Slack?”
05 / SPIKES20 credits
Real-time data spike query
Investigate increases in outage-report activity. A report spike is a signal, not by itself a confirmed outage.
“Does Slack show a recent spike in reports?”
06 / LOOKUP10 credits
Monitored service name lookup
Find the monitored service that matches your query before exploring its available data.
“Find AWS or Google in the service catalog.”
Data depth and geographic detail depend on available sources. Regional results require a minimum evidence threshold and cover the recent retained window, not long-range regional history. No private work-tool or MSP customer-database access is included.

You control when to upgrade. Free access does not enroll you in a paid plan. Pro and Team auto-renew monthly until canceled; cancellation takes effect at the paid period’s end. Your existing SID plans remain unchanged.
MCP Pro and Team are distinct from personal Pro/Max and Business Team Monitoring. Included monthly credits do not roll over. Purchased credits do not expire and are used after monthly credits. A retained purchased balance is usable after cancellation under Free’s monthly function limits. Invalid inputs, SID errors and no-data results are not charged. Retry protection requires a reused idempotency key with identical arguments.
One account. A connected workflow.
01
Create your business account
Use Google, Apple or email to create a SID business account, or sign in to your existing account.
02
Connect your AI client
Add the SID remote MCP endpoint to your client. Authorize its read-only connection through OAuth, or configure a private bearer credential if supported.
03
Query with a clear credit allowance
Start with Free or choose MCP Pro or Team. See the shared balance and recent credit usage in your MCP workspace before and after every query.
Choose your AI tool
Start with your SID business MCP workspace. Confirm which account you are authorizing. The remote endpoint is https://statusisdown.com/api/mcp.
SID covers 13,500+ services; available records and geographic evidence vary. Access is read-only, workspace-scoped and revocable. Queries use SID MCP credits; connecting is not the same as running a query.
Claude
Approved directory connector.
- Open Claude connector settings and search for Status Is Down.
- Select the listing, connect and authorize your intended SID business account.
- Confirm read-only access. Plan and administrator restrictions may apply.
ChatGPT
Custom MCP setup; directory review pending.
- On ChatGPT web, open the custom MCP option in Plugins or Apps, if available.
- Enter the SID endpoint and select OAuth authentication.
- Complete SID read-only authorization and select the connector in a new conversation. An eligible plan and workspace permissions are required.
Cursor
Connection and six-tool discovery confirmed; marketplace application pending.
- Open Customize, MCP, then New MCP Server.
- Add status-is-down with the SID endpoint under mcpServers in your MCP JSON configuration. Preserve existing servers.
- Save, authenticate when prompted and confirm the six SID tools appear.
GitHub Copilot in VS Code
Direct server setup; curated directory inclusion is separate.
- Run MCP: Add Server from the VS Code Command Palette.
- Choose HTTP, enter the SID endpoint, name the connection and select its configuration scope.
- Complete browser authorization. VS Code workspace configuration uses servers and type http, not the Cursor mcpServers format.
GitHub Copilot in VS Code setup documentation
Manus
Custom setup path; SID end-to-end connection testing pending.
- Open connector settings and choose the custom MCP option, if available.
- Enter the SID endpoint and use the authentication method supported by your client.
- Use OAuth if offered. Otherwise put your private SID credential only in a secure authentication or header field, never in chat, URLs or repositories.
Gemini CLI
For Gemini CLI, not the consumer Gemini app directory; SID connection testing pending.
- Add status-is-down to the CLI MCP settings with httpUrl set to the SID endpoint and OAuth enabled.
- Request the sid:mcp:read scope, then run /mcp auth status-is-down.
- Complete browser authorization. Use /mcp to inspect connection status.
Gemini CLI setup documentation
Meta Muse
Directory review pending; no verified SID custom-connector route yet.
- Once SID is approved and available, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Search for Status Is Down and follow the displayed authorization flow.
- Check requested permissions before connecting. Submission alone does not make the connector available.
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Publisher verification in progress; the MCP connector has not yet been submitted.
- Setup will be administrator-managed after connector onboarding.
- An authorized tenant administrator must approve the connector and enable it for intended users.
- Microsoft-compatible SID authentication remains to be verified. Follow the administrator requirements rather than assuming immediate availability.

Before you get started
Can I connect to SID MCP today?
Yes. Open your MCP workspace with an active business account, add the remote endpoint to a compatible client, and explicitly authorize read-only access. Client eligibility and administrator policies still apply.
Do I need a new account if I already use SID for business?
No. Sign in with your existing SID account. MCP access is a separate product; your current monitoring plan, billing and service selections are not changed by visiting this page.
What does the Free plan include?
Free includes 500 credits each UTC calendar month. Status queries cost 10 credits and can be repeated within the balance. Each of the other five functions may be used once per month at its listed credit cost.
Is MCP Team the same as Team Monitoring?
No. MCP Team is the US$99/month, 30,000-credit AI-query product. Team Monitoring is a separate service for monitoring and alerts. Neither product is purchased automatically when you create a business account.
Can I query an MSP client database or trigger actions?
MSP client-database lookup is excluded from this launch. These read-only tools retrieve outage information; they do not send notifications, change your monitoring settings or carry out remediation actions.
Will every AI client work for every business account?
Availability depends on the client’s MCP support, plan, region and administrator policies. The listed tools describe the client ecosystem, not completed SID integration tests. Use the workspace’s OAuth or private-header setup path where supported.
