What you get
What each job carries
referencenumber
A fixed identifier for the vacancy, unchanged for as long as it stays open.
title, company, companyid
The job title in the employer's wording, the employer's name, and an employer identifier shared by every vacancy it posts.
url
Our page for the vacancy, tagged with your source name. Send applicants here.
description
The full text the employer published.
date, updated
The posting date (or the day we first saw it, if the employer gives none), then the date of its latest change.
salary
Pay, worded exactly as the employer wrote it.
salarymin, salarymax, salarycurrency, salaryperiod
That pay as numbers, in the period the posting states it (hour, week, month or year), present when the posting states its pay.
city, country, location, remotetype
The work location, plus a remote or on-site marker.
eligibility
Hiring reach, as one of: one-country, several-countries, most-countries or worldwide.
eligiblecountries, excludedcountries
ISO codes. The first lists where a restricted vacancy may hire; the second lists the exceptions to a broad one.
jobtype, category
Contract type, then the discipline.
skills
A separate tag per skill, when the employer names skills.
talentpool
Set to yes only when the employer's own posting says no seat is open today; qualified people are added to a pool and hear back once one is.
expirationdate
Application deadline as YYYY-MM-DD, included only if the employer sets one. Most vacancies have none and close when filled.
Page-level fields
totaljobs, page, pages
The total count of vacancies behind your address, and the position of this page (each holds 600).

Questions partners ask
Can we list these vacancies on pages of our own?
You can, indexed by search engines or not, provided every listing points to its url from the feed. Leave the pay untouched, since it is the figure the employer published. You do not need to show our logo or credit us.
Where should the Apply button point?
At the url field. That page on our site shows whether the vacancy is still live, and its Apply button hands the candidate to the employer's own application form.
How can we detect a closed vacancy?
Walk the full paged feed, from page=1 to the last page. Any referencenumber absent from all of them is closed. Without page= you only get the 1,000 most recent vacancies, so absence there can just mean age. Links to closed vacancies keep working: the page states the closure and suggests open alternatives.
How fresh is the data?
We check each employer's careers board every hour. Only vacancies that were open at the latest check appear. Pulling the feed one to a few times daily is enough to stay in step.
Our readers are in one country. Can the feed match that?
Append country= and a two-letter code. You get every vacancy people in that country may apply for, global ones included. Send a code we do not cover and the response lists the ones we do.
Our readers are one group: a state, cleared professionals, or students. Can the feed narrow to them?
Yes. Add state= and a two-letter US code for the vacancies whose posting names a place in that state (state=fl for the Space Coast, state=al for Huntsville). Add clearance=1 for the vacancies whose posting names a security clearance level, and level=internship for internships and co-ops. They combine with each other and with country= and profession=, and an unsupported value answers with what we accept.
Our audience spans many countries. Do we need one request per country?
There is a cheaper route: fetch the unfiltered feed once and sort vacancies on your side. eligiblecountries names where a restricted vacancy can hire, excludedcountries names the exceptions to a broad one, and when both are empty the vacancy is global. A few calls replace hundreds.
Can we get RSS?
Swap /feeds/jobs.xml for /feeds/rss.xml and keep your source=, country=, roles=, profession=, state=, clearance= and level= parameters. RSS returns the 100 most recent matching vacancies, puts the pay in each item title, and tags any vacancy the employer says has no seat open today with the category "Talent pool: no immediate opening".
How are pipeline postings marked, as opposed to live openings?
When an employer states in the posting that no seat is open today and applicants go into a pool for later, XML shows talentpool yes and RSS adds the matching category. The flag follows the employer's words only; if the posting says nothing of the kind, neither marker appears.
Is there a rate limit?
We set none. Space your page requests a few seconds apart and, on a 503, wait a minute or two before retrying. Each page holds 600 vacancies, the ceiling for one response.
Which fields are missing?
Industry codes, seniority levels and postal codes are absent (states are read from the place line for state=, not sent as a field), and expirationdate appears only when the employer sets a deadline (most vacancies close when filled). If we cannot source a value reliably, we omit it instead of guessing.
Will we get traffic numbers?
Your source name rides on each link, so we can count what you send. Ask and we will email a weekly summary of visitors and page views from your listings, split by country.
