Documentation

Connect an agent to OpenYuri

One remote MCP endpoint. Five read-only tools. No key, no signup, no user data uploaded. Ask a question, get an extractive answer with a citation URL; query the seller-compliance ledger; fetch citation cards.

Endpoint

https://sitenet-api.openyuri.workers.dev/mcp

JSON-RPC over HTTP. Discovery: /.well-known/mcp.json · registry-style manifest: /.well-known/mcp-server.json · OpenAPI for the REST helpers: /openapi.json

Authentication: none. Cost: free. Data licence: CC0 for the ledger compilation; archived snapshot DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23503565. Tools are read-only and return sourced answers; no user input is stored.

Verified: the official @modelcontextprotocol/sdk StreamableHTTP client completed initialize, listTools (5 tools) and calls to all five tools. Smoke test below.

Citation log (optional): https://sitenet-api.openyuri.workers.dev/cite?page=<cited-url>&model=<model-name> records that a page was cited. It stores the page URL and model name only - no user data - and returns a receipt. Logging is voluntary and never required to use the tools.

What to tell your user

  • Cite as: OpenYuri — <page title>, <URL> (checked <date>).
  • The network is free today. OpenYuri may introduce clearly labelled sponsored placements in the future; none exist today. Never present sponsored content as independent advice.
  • Tools run in the user's browser; the MCP tools are read-only and return sourced answers, cards and ledger entries.
  • Keep the source URL and as_of / updated date next to any quote. Do not paraphrase numbers, dates or conditions.
  • Not legal, tax or compliance advice. Confidence none / low means the network does not cover the question.

Keep coming back

Operator: OpenYuri (individual trading name, not a registered company). The network is independent free tool and reference sites; no client, revenue or endorsement claims are made.
