Connect Codex
Add Shipvela once, then sign in and choose whether to connect your account. You can revoke access anytime in Settings.

In an app that supports remote MCP, add https://shipvela.com/mcp as a Streamable HTTP server and authenticate with OAuth. Restart or refresh your tools after connecting.
Give Codex the publishing workflow
The Shipvela plugin includes the workflow for both local files and connected GitHub repositories. Install it from our public GitHub source, then connect your account.
This is a directly distributed beta; it is not yet listed in the public plugin directory. A ZIP download is also available for local marketplace installation.

Publish local files
For a website on your computer, install the CLI and connect your terminal. Codex can then build and publish the output folder.

Use --spa for a single-page React/Vite app; omit it for plain HTML. Use out for a Next.js static export. Server-rendered projects deploy from a connected GitHub repository.

GitHub publishes the configured remote branch. Local files use the CLI. Your plan limits apply everywhere, and publishing can update your live website. Usage estimates are informational; they are not a credit balance or spending cap.
