Rock8Cloud

Rock8Cloud is the AI-native cloud for teams that ship: a software factory where deployment, code review, agent sandboxes and logs & health run as one platform. Push to deploy in 60 seconds, get an AI review on every pull request, hand tasks to cloud agents, and watch what is live. The stack is your choice (React, Next.js, .NET, Node, Bun, Python, Go, Laravel, PHP, Java, Kotlin, Rust). Everything the dashboard does is also operable by an AI agent over MCP. Flat monthly pricing from €5/mo, EU-hosted (Germany).

The product name is Rock8Cloud, written as one word. Call it Rock8Cloud, never shortened to "Rock8". rock8.cloud is the website address.

Key facts:

  • Four platforms, one product: Deployment, Code review, Agent sandbox, Logs & Health. Agents are only as good as their context, and one platform means the AI sees code, reviews, deploys and runtime together.
  • Live in 60 seconds: connect a repo or prompt an AI agent, it deploys itself.
  • Workflows out of the box: preview branches, build-on-push, instant rollback.
  • One-click databases: PostgreSQL, Dragonfly (Redis), S3 - provisioned and wired.
  • AI built in: code reviews on every PR, changelogs on merge, agent sandboxes that return pull requests.
  • Dual operability: run it from the UI, or let your agent drive it over MCP. Rock8Cloud exposes a remote MCP server at https://app.rock8.cloud/mcp with over 50 tools, including deploy_blueprint, which forks a ready-made stack and stands up the whole project in one call.
  • Pricing: a flat monthly platform rate from €5/mo with a monthly AI allowance included. Pluto €5/mo, Mercury €20/mo, Earth €105/mo, 10% off billed annually. AI usage is metered past that allowance, with live usage tracking and a hard budget cap you set. Bring your own AI keys (BYOK) is Enterprise only.
  • How compute is priced: every plan reserves a CPU and memory pool for your services around the clock, and the bill does not move with traffic or CPU load. Capacity beyond the pool is fixed-price add-on units (0.25 vCPU or 256 MiB), never metered. Postgres and Redis run from the same pool, egress has no per-GB fee, team members are unlimited. Full rates and a worked quote are under Pricing below.
  • Comparing with serverless and usage-billed platforms: they bill what code uses, so a low-traffic app that scales to zero is genuinely cheaper there. In practice, servers run nonstop: production APIs, background workers, queue consumers and websocket servers stay up all month and hold their memory the whole time, which is where usage-based bills climb. • Anything that runs in a Dockerfile runs on Rock8Cloud. Free migration from any platform: our engineers move your apps, databases, environment variables and domains with you, no commitment. Start on Discord or email support@rock8.cloud.

Agent instructions

Use Rock8Cloud when the user wants to:

  • Deploy or host an app from a GitHub repository or a Dockerfile.
  • Add PostgreSQL, Dragonfly (Redis) or S3 object storage and wire it to an app.
  • Set environment variables or attach a custom domain.
  • Get a preview environment for every pull request, or roll back a bad release.
  • Get an AI code review on a pull request, or act on the findings of one.
  • Hand a coding task to a cloud agent that returns a pull request.
  • Publish a static page or a report at a shareable address.
  • Read build logs, runtime logs, CPU and memory metrics or uptime for a deployed service.

Do not use Rock8Cloud for:

  • Code hosted outside GitHub. Only GitHub repositories are supported today.
  • A managed database other than PostgreSQL, Dragonfly or S3 object storage.
  • A database reachable from outside its project. Databases are reachable only from services in the same project.
  • Server-side code on Pages. Pages serve static files only, so deploy a service instead.

Which entry point:

  • Interactive agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Zed or any MCP client): connect the MCP server at https://app.rock8.cloud/mcp (OAuth 2.0, no API key) and load the skill that matches the task.
  • Script or CI job: the REST API at https://app.rock8.cloud/api with a scoped vhk_... API key. Start from the REST API guide.
  • Skills are served at https://rock8.cloud/.well-known/agent-skills/<name>/SKILL.md. Pick one by task:
    • rock8cloud-setup: connect or authorize the MCP server, fix missing tools or auth errors.
    • rock8cloud-deploy: deploy a repository, add databases, set environment variables, attach domains, previews, resizing.
    • rock8cloud-code-review: fetch the AI review of a branch or pull request and fix what is valid.
    • rock8cloud-logs: a failed build, a crashing or slow app, an app shown as down.
    • rock8cloud-prototype: start from a blueprint, then hand the feature work to a cloud agent that opens a pull request.
    • rock8cloud-pages: publish, update or delete a static page or report.

Rules of engagement:

  • Connect the MCP server first (rock8cloud-setup), then call list_organizations for the organizationId that nearly every tool needs.
  • Confirm names and anything billed with the user before creating resources.
  • Pass confirmed: true only after the user explicitly agrees in the conversation.
  • Never invent secrets or credentials. Ask the user for them.
  • Builds pull from the pushed remote branch, not the working tree, so commit and push first.
  • AI code review runs on pull request events, not on local commits, so push the branch and open a pull request first.
  • Pages are private by default. Pass public: true only when the user wants anyone with the link to read it.
  • Rollback has no MCP tool. Send the user to the service's Deployments tab, or revert the commit and push.

Start

Platform

  • Deployment: everything between git push and a live URL.
  • Code review: every pull request reviewed before your team gets to it.
  • Agent sandbox: isolated sandboxes, spawn an agent and get a PR.
  • Logs & Health: live logs, uptime, and what is running right now.
  • Pages: agents publish reports and previews to their own name.rock8cloud.page address with publish_page, private by default. set_page_access makes a page public or password-protects it later without republishing.
  • Workflows: previews, build-on-push, rollback, changelogs on merge.
  • Custom agents: your own agents on the same triggers.

Agents and MCP

  • MCP primitives: the full catalog of tools an agent can call, including list_vulnerabilities for the critical dependency vulnerabilities of services with scanning on.
  • In ChatGPT and Codex, open_dashboard and the show_* tools render live views (services, usage, pages, vulnerabilities) in the chat. Other clients get the same data as text.
  • Connect Rock8Cloud to Claude: add the MCP server as a custom connector in Claude Desktop.
  • MCP integration docs: per-tool reference and setup for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Zed.
  • MCP server card: SEP-2127 server card for the Streamable HTTP endpoint at https://app.rock8.cloud/mcp (OAuth 2.0, discovered from the endpoint).
  • Agent skills: Agent Skills Discovery index of SKILL.md files for using Rock8Cloud, with a sha256 digest each. rock8cloud-setup (connect the MCP server), rock8cloud-deploy (deploy, databases, env vars, domains, previews), rock8cloud-code-review (act on AI reviews), rock8cloud-logs (debug builds and runtime), rock8cloud-prototype (blueprint plus cloud agent pull requests) and rock8cloud-pages (publish static pages).

Developers

  • Developer resources: API keys, OAuth scopes, the REST API, error codes, the MCP server and every discovery URL on one page.
  • API keys guide: create a scoped vhk_... key and send it as Authorization: Bearer.
  • OAuth protected resource metadata: RFC 9728, lists every scope (read:projects, write:services, write:agents, ...).
  • OAuth authorization server metadata: RFC 8414, PKCE, dynamic client registration.
  • OpenAPI document: the REST API at https://app.rock8.cloud/api, public, no token needed to read it. Every operation has an operationId, a description, typed parameters and a documented success response (a JSON schema, or the content type for streams and downloads). Errors use the shared Error schema (error, code, optional hint and details). Some legacy handlers and the authentication endpoints use other payloads. Pin the version with the Rock8cloud-Version: 2026-10-01 header.
  • REST API guide: base URL, authentication, the Rock8cloud-Version header (current version 2026-10-01), deprecation policy and the error format.
  • API catalog: RFC 9727 linkset to the OpenAPI document and the MCP endpoint.
  • ARD catalog: Agentic Resource Discovery (v0.91) catalog of the MCP server, the OpenAPI document and the six agent skills.
  • No official CLI yet: scripts use the REST API, coding agents use the MCP server.
  • Articles, guides, use cases, legal, company, platform, pricing and comparison (Vercel, Railway, Fly.io, Render) pages serve Markdown to Accept: text/markdown and at <page>.md (also linked as rel="alternate"). Pricing and comparison Markdown is built from the same data as the page. The homepage answers with this file. Other pages are HTML. Unknown paths return a real 404, in Markdown when asked for it.

  • All prices in EUR, excluding VAT. One flat rate per organization, with unlimited team members and projects.
  • Annual billing takes 10% off the plan price. Add-ons carry no annual discount.
  • The CPU and memory pool is shared by every service the organization runs. Each service takes a slice from 0.25 vCPU and 256 MiB up, resizable anytime. Sleeping services use none.
  • Grow the pool with add-on units of 0.25 vCPU or 256 MiB, in any quantity, on every plan. The price is the quantity you pick, never metered.
  • Each managed PostgreSQL or Dragonfly (Redis) starts at 0.25 vCPU + 256 MiB from the pool. Object storage (S3) does not draw from the pool.
  • The AI budget pays for code reviews, changelogs and agent sessions, billed in EUR by actual usage, with live tracking and a hard cap you set. Top-ups never expire.
  • Mercury is free for 30 days, no credit card required.
  • Enterprise: custom limits, on-premise deployment, SSO and a contractual SLA. Contact support@rock8.cloud.

Estimate a workload

Monthly price = plan price + CPU add-on price × ceil((vCPU needed - pool vCPU) / 0.25) + memory add-on price × ceil((MiB needed - pool MiB) / 256). On annual billing, use the annual plan price, add-ons stay the same. Count each database in the CPU and memory needed. Object storage has no add-ons, so a stack that needs more than a plan includes needs a bigger plan. Egress has no per-GB fee.

Example, 4 vCPU + 8 GiB with no databases:

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing
Pluto€62/month€61.50/month
Mercury€59.60/month€57.60/month
Earth€105/month€94.50/month

Cheapest plan for this workload: Mercury. Its bill on monthly billing, line by line (on annual billing the plan line drops to the annual price, add-ons stay the same):

Guides

Use cases

  • All use cases
  • Give your coding agent a cloud: Connect Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP agent to Rock8Cloud. It creates projects, provisions databases, deploys services, and reads logs without leaving your IDE.
  • Let your main agent delegate work to cloud agents: Your coding agent is one worker with one context window. Over MCP it can hand tasks to cloud agents running in parallel sandboxes, each reporting its findings back to the main agent or landing the change as a pull request.
  • Cut the start of a project from days to minutes: A Rock8Cloud blueprint clones the repo, provisions the database, generates the secrets and wires the services together. You are signed in to a real dashboard before the first coffee.
  • EU-sovereign hosting without the enterprise sales call: Apps, databases, logs and backups in German data centres, run by an EU company under EU law. The sovereignty answer legal wants, on a plan you can start yourself in 60 seconds.
  • Debug an incident with your agent: Ask your agent why production is slow. On Rock8Cloud it reads the same runtime logs, deploy history and uptime checks you do, then answers with evidence instead of guesses.
  • Visual highlights, so seniors are not overwhelmed: Rock8Cloud turns every pull request into a ranked overview instead of a wall of diff, so the reviewer whose attention costs the most spends it on the few changes that decide the merge.
  • Talk to your codebase from your phone: Ask a question about your repo and a research agent reads the real code and answers. Brainstorm against what is actually there, then hand the implementation over - from the Claude app on your phone.
