Is it read-only?

Yes, by default. Your AI can read links, clicks, alerts, and opportunities for the connected site. Anything that would change your site runs as a dry run and waits for you to approve it in the conversation.

What does it cost?

Lasso MCP is included with a free Lasso account. No credit card is required to connect.

Do I need the WordPress plugin?

No. Lasso Lite for WordPress is optional after the first scan and is never required to connect.

Which data can it see?

Only the site whose license key you connected. Connect a second key to analyze a second site.

Why doesn't ChatGPT need a key?

Lasso ships as an app in the ChatGPT directory, so you authorize with your Lasso login instead of pasting a key. Claude, Cursor, and other clients use the license key.

Does it promise higher earnings?

No. Lasso reports the published rate of a matching program. When there's no match, the link stays where it is and the AI says so.
