How answers are made

  • Answers come from the same catalog and checks as this site. Each tool says when we last checked its free plan and links to its page here, where the vendor's own pricing source is.
  • Free plans change, so check the vendor's pricing page before you rely on one.
  • Tools whose makers paid to be listed are left out of the connector's answers. So are tools that offer uncensored or adult content, and tools built to pass AI-written text off as human-written.
  • The connector only reads. It can't change anything, and it doesn't call any other service.

What it sends and keeps

  • The connector receives only what your assistant sends when it looks something up: the task, the tool names or websites you asked about, and the app's name.
  • We keep a record of each lookup in our analytics (PostHog) for up to a year: what was asked, which app asked, its approximate location and which tools we answered with. Email addresses, phone numbers and links in what was asked are blanked out first, and we don't store your IP address. Lookups from the same connection share a scrambled ID so we can count how many people use the connector; it isn't linked to an account or to your visits to our site.
  • Links in its answers carry tags (such as utm_medium=ai_assistant) so we can count visits from each assistant. A visit through one is like any other visit to the site.
