The 4-point operator standard. Every listing is checked against all four before it goes live.
A prep center with a 2-year-old website and an unanswered phone is a red flag. We run the un-fun record and site checks before a listing goes live, automated liveness checks after, and re-verify on user reports.

FDA registration, when a center claims it.
From the registration confirmation FDA issued to the operator; food facility registrations are not publicly searchable. A claim we cannot confirm stays the operator's statement.

Site live, FBA keywords visible.
Domain resolves, the homepage returns HTTP 200, and the operator's own visible site text names its Amazon FBA prep service (Amazon, FBA or FNSKU). Generic prep or 3PL wording alone does not get a center listed.

On the new page, prep centers on the plan that also fit a seller's answers can appear below our picks, in a separate section labeled "Also accepting introductions". No prep center can pay for editorial ranking, a shortlist pick, or verification, and those are unchanged whether or not a prep center pays.
