eSIMCompare: travel eSIM prices

What the dataset is

A curated, verified catalogue of travel eSIM plans across 202 destinations and 15 providers. It is not a scrape: every price and validity window is checked against the provider's own destination page or a reputable third-party source and date-stamped, so it can be trusted and cited. Access it

The full public catalogue is one JSON document, updated on every data pass, no key required:

Each plan carries:

• name, slug, the plan and its stable id in the catalogue
• provider, the eSIM provider it is sold by (Airalo, Holafly, Nomad eSIM,...)
• destination, the country or region the plan covers
• dataAmount, dataGb, the data allowance, as a label and in gigabytes
• validityDays, how many days the plan stays valid
• priceUsd, pricePerGbUsd, the price, and what it works out to per GB
• unlimited, whether the plan is unlimited data or a fixed (metered) allowance
• carriers, throttledAfter, the local network(s) if the provider states them, and any fair-use or daily high-speed cap where published (null when not stated)
• confidence, source, lastSeen, verified vs reported, the source the price was read from, and the date it was last seen

MCP server for AI agents

Agents can query the catalogue live through the Model Context Protocol: no key, read-only, the same prices this site shows. Three tools: search_esim_plans (the cheapest plans for a destination, data need, trip length and budget), esim_price_index (what a week of data costs in a country) and compare_esim_providers (how providers stand). Results are ordered by price alone, and each buy link says whether it carries our affiliate tracking.

The dataset is free to access and to cite, with attribution to eSIMCompare and a link back. Individual facts may be quoted with attribution. Please do not present the compilation as your own or rebuild a competing catalog from a bulk copy. The moat is the ongoing verification, not the snapshot, and honest citation is welcome.
