Hi, I'm Aoife, your guide through Entry. Today, I'll show you how to connect ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or pretty much any AI assistant to your Entry, so it can help keep your personal website up to date. Important bit first: your assistant helps, but you approve. Nothing goes live on your page until you say so. Let's set it up.

MCP is just a standard way for AI assistants to connect to other apps. Entry runs an MCP server, so your assistant can read your entries, write and edit drafts, and propose changes for you to approve.

Go to entry.fyi/mcp and copy the server URL. Then add it to your assistant. There's a guide for each one. In Claude Code, it's one command. In Cursor and VS Code, it's a one-click link. In ChatGPT and Claude, you add it as a custom connector, for now.

There's no API key to copy or paste. When your assistant asks, you sign in to Entry, and you choose which entries it can see.

Now, just ask something like: “Draft a post about my new project and send it to me to approve.” Drafts land in your writing studio, so you can pick them up yourself. Profile changes and publishing wait in Entry until you approve them, and you stay in charge.

You can disconnect an assistant any time in Settings, under Integrations. The links are below. See you in the next one.
