Sync GTM MCP Server
The Sync GTM Model Context Protocol (MCP) server lets AI assistants — Claude Code, the Claude app, Claude Cowork, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, OpenClaw, and Manus — interact directly with your Sync GTM workspace.
With the MCP server, AI agents go beyond chat: they enrich people and companies, find verified emails and phone numbers, pull LinkedIn data, and read buying signals — all with full awareness of your workspace context.
The server endpoint is:
https://api.syncgtm.com/mcp
Authentication
Sync GTM’s MCP server uses secure browser-based sign-in (OAuth). There is no API token to copy or paste and no Authorization header to configure.
The first time your client connects to https://api.syncgtm.com/mcp, it opens your default browser to the Sync GTM authorization page. Sign in to your Sync GTM account and approve the connection — your client then stores the session and reconnects automatically.
Tip: Make sure you’re already signed in to the Sync GTM app in your default browser. The authorization page opens there.

Prerequisites
- A Sync GTM account — sign up free
- One supported MCP client (see the grid above)
- For browser sign-in: be logged in to Sync GTM in your default browser
Tools
The server exposes 20+ enrichment, contact-discovery, LinkedIn, and signal tools. See the full list with credit costs on the Tools page.
Usage
Once connected, use natural language to drive your Sync GTM workspace — including batch workflows over your own lists. Example prompts:
- “Find work emails for all the leads in this CSV”
- “Find the LinkedIn URL of every lead in my list”
- “Get the latest LinkedIn posts for these profiles and analyze them”
- “Enrich these company domains and pull their tech stack”
- “Find people in sales roles at this company”
- “Verify these email addresses and flag the invalid ones”
- “How many credits do I have left?”
Troubleshooting
Sign-in issues
- If the browser sign-in window doesn’t open automatically, trigger it manually — run
/mcpin Claude Code, or click Authorize / Sign in / Needs login in your client’s MCP settings. - Make sure you’re signed in to the correct Sync GTM workspace in your default browser.
- If you get a
401 Unauthorizedafter some time, your session may have expired. Reconnect and sign in again.
Connection issues
- Ensure your network allows outbound HTTPS requests to
api.syncgtm.com. - Restart your MCP client after editing its configuration.
Tools not appearing
- Restart your MCP client.
- Verify the Sync GTM server is listed and shows as connected / authenticated in your client’s MCP settings.
Security
- Authentication uses OAuth browser sign-in — your password is never shared with the MCP client, and there is no long-lived API token that can leak.
- All communication uses HTTPS encryption.
- You can revoke a client’s access at any time from your Sync GTM dashboard.
