Documentation
Domain ratings inside your AI assistant
Connect the assistant you already use to CheckDomainRating.com, then ask for the rating of any site in plain words, without leaving the conversation.
Server address
https://checkdomainrating.com/mcp
Why connect it
Ask in plain words
Ask which of ten sites is the best known and your assistant looks up the ratings itself. Nothing to copy, paste or open in another tab.
A whole list at once
Up to 100 domains in a single question, so a list of prospects or partners is answered in one go.
The same data as the rest of the site
Every answer comes from the newest monthly release, the one behind the checker and the data files.
Nothing you ask about is written down
We look up the rating and then the domain is gone. No history, and no record against your account.
Free to start
Any account can connect. A free account answers 25 requests a day, with no card and no trial clock.
How to add it
- In your assistant's settings, add a new MCP server (some apps call it a connector or an integration) and paste in the server address above.
- Your assistant opens a page on this site. Sign in, or open a free account, with your email address, then choose Approve.
- Start a new conversation and ask something. For example: What is the rating of example.com, and how does it compare with example.org?
Only approve a connection you started yourself, and only when the page shows an address you trust.
Claude Code, from a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http checkdomainrating https://checkdomainrating.com/mcp
Cursor, and other apps that keep their MCP servers in a settings file:
{
"mcpServers": {
"checkdomainrating": { "url": "https://checkdomainrating.com/mcp" }
}
}
VS Code:
{
"servers": {
"checkdomainrating": { "type": "http", "url": "https://checkdomainrating.com/mcp" }
}
}
Any other app that can connect to an MCP server over HTTP works the same way: give it the server address and sign in when it asks.
What your assistant can do
Check ratings
The rating of up to 100 domains at a time, each from 0 to 100.
List downloads
A download link for every monthly data file. This one needs the bulk data licence.
Limits
- • A free account answers 25 requests a day, up to 100 domains each. That is 2,500 domains a day.
- • The bulk data licence lifts the daily limit.
- • These are the same limits as the data API, and the two share one daily allowance: a request made either way counts once.
