CallForMe: let your agent call businesses for you
CallForMe gives any AI agent a phone. Your agent says who to call and what to get done; a voice assistant places the call, gets through phone menus, waits on hold, asks your agent mid-call if the business needs something, and returns a transcript plus structured answers. $1 per answered call (includes the first 5 minutes), then 25¢ a minute. No charge if nobody answers. Prepaid: add $10.00 to start; it auto-reloads when you drop under $5.00 (you can change that amount or turn it off).
Install
- MCP URL (streamable HTTP, OAuth with zero input; clients show a Connect/Authenticate step that asks for nothing): https://callforme.tel/mcp
- No-OAuth clients: https://callforme.tel/mcp/open (setup link per new session) or https://callforme.tel/mcp/k/
- All agents: https://callforme.tel/agents
Claude Code
Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http callforme https://callforme.tel/mcp
Then in Claude Code run /mcp, pick callforme, and choose Authenticate. A browser tab opens and closes by itself.
Claude (desktop & web)
Customize → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector. Name it CallForMe and paste:
https://callforme.tel/mcp
Click Continue, Add, then Connect. A window opens and closes by itself; there's nothing to fill in. Tip: set the tools to "Always allow" so Claude doesn't ask each time it checks on a call.
Note: On a phone? Add it once at claude.ai from any browser. Connectors you add there also work in the Claude mobile app.
ChatGPT
First turn on Developer mode: Settings → Security and login → Developer mode.
Then go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click +, choose Create custom MCP server, then Create MCP App. Name it CallForMe, keep OAuth, and paste:
https://callforme.tel/mcp
Ask ChatGPT to call the free demo pizza place. When it asks to allow CallForMe, choose Always allow.
Note: ChatGPT only lets you add your own server in Developer mode (Settings, Security and login), set up on chatgpt.com in a browser. Then: chatgpt.com/plugins, +, Create custom MCP server, Create MCP App. It shows an "elevated risk" warning; that's expected for any custom server. Works on free accounts too.
Codex
Run:
codex mcp add callforme --url https://callforme.tel/mcp
codex mcp login callforme
Cursor
One click, or add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"callforme": {
"url": "https://callforme.tel/mcp"
}
}
}
Gemini CLI
Run:
gemini mcp add --transport http callforme https://callforme.tel/mcp
OpenClaw
Tell your OpenClaw:
Install the skill at https://callforme.tel/skill.md
Or add the MCP server:
openclaw mcp set callforme https://callforme.tel/mcp
Any agent with a shell
Tell your agent:
Read https://callforme.tel/skill.md and use it to make phone calls for me.
It uses the REST API with curl. Nothing to install.

FAQ
What does a call cost?
$1 when someone answers, including the first 5 minutes, then 25¢ a minute. Every call stops at 30 minutes. You start with $10 of credit, and calls to the demo lines are free.
What if nobody answers?
You pay nothing. Busy lines are free too, and so is voicemail unless you asked it to leave a message. Your agent gets the result and can try again later with one tool call.
Will businesses hang up on an AI?
Some might. In our test calls, restaurants in Los Angeles picked up, heard it was an AI assistant, and gave their closing times. The assistant says who it's calling for and gets straight to the errand. If someone calls +1 (469) 966-0062 back, our line takes a message and passes it to you.
Is my card safe?
You pay on Stripe's checkout page. We never see or store your card number. Your agent never sees it either, and the assistant won't read a card number out loud on any call.
What do I have to sign up for?
Nothing up front. You add the URL to your agent and click Connect, which asks for nothing. The first time your agent is about to call a real business, it gives you one link to add $10. After that every chat just calls; credit reloads automatically unless you turn that off.
Do I have to talk to anyone?
No. The assistant does the talking and your agent answers its questions. You only get on the phone if you ask it to patch you in when a person picks up.
Does the business know it's an AI?
Yes. The first thing the assistant says is "Hi, this is an AI assistant calling for" you, by name. If they ask, it says it's an AI. It never pretends to be you or a person.
What if the business asks something my agent didn't tell it?
The assistant says "one moment" and asks your agent. Your agent answers from what it knows or asks you, and the answer goes straight into the live call.
Can it spend more than I expect?
No call runs past 30 minutes, and it never agrees to charges at the business that your agent didn't approve. Auto-reload adds $10 at a time, and you can turn it off before you pay or anytime after.
Can I get a refund?
Unused credit never expires. Email hello@greatwork.company within 90 days of buying it and we'll refund what you haven't used. Calls nobody answered are never charged in the first place.
Can it call several places at once?
Yes. Ask for quotes from a few shops and your agent can call them at the same time. Ask it to call around, and CallForMe finds up to 100 places, calls them, and hands back a table of answers.
What if the business doesn't speak English?
It understands English and Spanish and switches to Spanish on its own. For other languages your agent can say so up front. If a business answers in another language it supports, CallForMe calls back once in that language and doesn't charge for the first call.
Is the call recorded?
Yes, so you get a transcript and can listen back on your account page. Only you can see your calls. If you share one, the public page hides your name and any numbers you gave.
I use it in two agents. Do I pay twice?
No. When the second agent's first call hands you a link, it recognizes you and links that agent to your existing account in one click.
Which agents does it work with?
Anything that speaks MCP (Claude on the web, desktop and Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed, Goose, opencode, OpenClaw, Manus, Muse and more), plus anything that can make an HTTP request, through the REST API.
Can it wait on hold?
Yes, up to 30 minutes per call. It stays quiet through hold music, and it can patch you in when a person picks up if you give it your number.
What number do calls come from?
+1 (469) 966-0062. If you want the business to reach you directly, give your agent a callback number to share.
What won't it do?
Call personal numbers to harass anyone, telemarket, call emergency lines, read out card numbers or Social Security numbers, or agree to charges your agent didn't approve.
I'm a creator. Can I try it without paying?
Email hello@greatwork.company with your channel and we'll put credit on your email address. When your agent's first setup link opens, choose "Already have an account, or creator credit?" and sign in with that email. No card needed.
