Connect in one command
For Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http bulktranscripts https://bulktranscripts.co/mcp. For Claude on the web or desktop, add it as a custom connector; for Cursor and VS Code, paste the one-line JSON config; for ChatGPT, add it in developer mode. There is nothing to install and nothing to run locally — it is a hosted, streamable-HTTP server.
Six tools, designed for agents
get_transcript fetches one video's transcript with metadata. get_transcripts batches up to 20 at once. search_youtube finds videos by keyword. get_channel_videos and get_playlist_videos list an archive so the agent can decide what to read. get_latest_videos is free and perfect for "what did this channel post this week?" monitoring.
What that unlocks in practice
Paste a link and say "summarize this talk with key quotes." Ask for every video in a course playlist as study notes. Have your assistant watch three competitor channels and brief you on new uploads each morning. Research what a creator has said about a topic across their whole archive — the agent lists the channel, picks candidates, and reads only those transcripts.
