How do I connect Google Search Console to ChatGPT?+

Create an AskGSC account, authorize Google Search Console in read-only mode, then add the AskGSC remote MCP server to ChatGPT as a custom connector. Approve the assistant's OAuth request. Ask a question about your properties, pages or queries. No CSV export or Google Cloud setup is required.

What is a Google Search Console MCP server?+

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external tools. AskGSC hosts a remote MCP server that securely reads your authorized Search Console data on demand, so you can analyze clicks, impressions, CTR and average positions from your conversation.

Does AskGSC also work with Notion AI?+

Add the AskGSC remote MCP URL to Notion’s custom connections, authorize access to your Search Console properties, and ask Notion AI about your SEO data.

Do I need to install software, manage API keys or export CSVs?+

No. AskGSC is hosted: connect your Google account with OAuth, add the remote MCP connector to your compatible AI client, and ask questions. There is nothing to install locally and no Search Console spreadsheet to maintain.

Can AskGSC edit my Google Search Console account?+

No. AskGSC uses Google's webmasters.readonly permission. Its 11 MCP tools analyze performance, trends, pages, URL indexing status and sitemaps; none can modify Search Console or your website.
