The App-Kit MCP server gives Claude, Cursor and VS Code a page SEO audit, a text check and PDF and image conversion. Ask your agent to review a page, rate an article or turn a PDF into images and it calls the App-Kit engines itself. Free with limits; the token needs no email.

1. Get a free token

   No email, no sign-up. A token raises your limits two to four times, and you need it for Claude.ai, where every user reaches us from the same addresses. Get token Before issuing, a Cloudflare Turnstile bot check runs. It loads only after you click the button.

2. Connect your client

   Pick a client, then run the command or paste the config. Your token fills in once you get it. Run in your terminal:

   Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code also work without a token — drop the Authorization header and anonymous limits apply.

What the server can do

Limits are per tool and reset every hour, with a shared daily cap for free access on top. Status and quota checks are free. Your agent sees what is left in every response.

What happens to your data

• Server in Germany

  Your AI client connects to mcp.app-kit.dev directly. The server receives only what the agent passes to a tool: a page URL, a text or a file.

• Text and files are not kept

  Text is not kept after the response — only its hash stays in the analysis service log. Result links live 10 minutes; files are deleted within 15 minutes.

• IP only for limits

  Your address is kept as a hash with a daily-rotating key for up to 24 hours. The token is not linked to anyone; we store only its hash.

FAQ

Model Context Protocol is an open protocol AI agents use to connect external tools. With the App-Kit server connected, you ask your agent in plain words — “check this page’s SEO”, “rate this article’s readability” — and it calls the right tool itself.

A token raises your limits two to four times and they count only for you. For Claude.ai it is effectively required: requests from all Claude.ai users reach us from the same Anthropic addresses, so they share one anonymous limit.

Get a new one with the “Get token” button above. We cannot show the old one again — we store only its hash. Tokens are valid for 90 days.

If the file has a public URL, the agent passes the link and the server downloads it. For a local file, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code use create_upload: the server returns a one-time link valid for 10 minutes and the agent uploads the file to it. Small files up to 512 KB can go right in the request. Results come back as links valid for 10 minutes.

The tool returns a clear error to your agent with the time the limit resets. Limits are hourly; on top of personal limits there is a shared daily cap for the free tier.

Any client with remote MCP over Streamable HTTP: Claude Code, Claude.ai (custom connector), Cursor, VS Code with Copilot. Nothing to install — just the server URL.
