AlphaGrowth

AlphaGrowth is a crypto growth firm that grows protocols' TVL and liquidity and publishes free data.

Its data covers projects, chains and categories ranked by TVL, market cap, revenue and community growth (Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit), funding rounds and investors, DAO treasuries, digital asset treasury companies, upcoming launches and token generation events, fees and revenue, and recorded Twitter/X Spaces with transcripts.

Every page is also served as Markdown: request it with Accept: text/markdown, or append .md to its path (https://alphagrowth.io/uniswap.md; after a trailing slash index.md, as in https://alphagrowth.io/investors/index.md, and https://alphagrowth.io/index.md for the home page). Otherwise pages are server-rendered HTML that can be read without JavaScript. Lists show 50 rows per page and take a page parameter. Sortable lists take sort_by and sort_order (asc or desc). Pages are also available in other languages under a URL prefix such as /es, /pt, /de, /ja or /zh. The database content (descriptions, blog posts) is English in every language.

Data API

AlphaGrowth is a crypto growth firm that grows protocols' TVL and liquidity and publishes free data. Its free data covers crypto projects, chains, investors, DAO treasuries and treasury companies, and it works with protocols, funds and digital asset treasuries on DeFi yield and liquidity, token growth, private lending, LP allocations, treasury yield strategies and onchain insurance capital. Contact them by visiting https://alphagrowth.io/contact-us/

Services:

The data API serves JSON and is free, with no sign-up. https://alphagrowth.io/api/v1 is the index of every endpoint below, and each response carries a source block to cite:

The same products are tools at https://alphagrowth.io/mcp (see below), also free and without sign-up.

MCP server

A Model Context Protocol server is at https://alphagrowth.io/mcp (Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST, stateless, no authentication). It reads the search history and Spaces transcripts and serves the data API products as tools. Its tools:

  • list_keywords: The keywords whose results are tracked. Returns each keyword's id, the text searched, whether it is still being searched, when it was last searched, and how many results it has found. Use an id as the keyword_id argument of search_results.
  • list_sources: The sources that have produced results, for example twitter_spaces, tweets_en or tweets_ja. Use one as the source argument of search_results.
  • search_results: Recorded search results, newest first. Filter by keyword, by source, and by free text scoped to result titles, to the transcripts of imported Twitter Spaces, or to both. Each entry reports its source, url, title, author, state and datetime, plus whether a transcript is available and the broadcast_id to pass to get_transcript.
  • get_transcript: The full transcript of an imported Twitter Space, by the broadcast_id that search_results reports. Returns the title, start time, duration, participants, audio url when published, and the transcript as timed segments with their speaker.
  • list_transcribed_spaces: Twitter Spaces among the matching results whose import produced a transcript, one entry per broadcast with the keywords that found it. Takes the same filters as search_results. Use it to find transcripts worth fetching with get_transcript.
  • find_projects: Finds crypto projects whose name or symbol contains the query, largest TVL first, with slug, category, TVL and market cap. Includes blockchains' own projects (flagged is_chain: true; use chain_metrics for the chain, project_metrics for its coin). Use the slug with the other project tools. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • project_metrics: A crypto project's current metrics from AlphaGrowth: TVL, price, market cap, volume, revenue, users and social followers with 1d/7d/30d changes, plus its description, categories, chains and links. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • project_community: How fast a crypto project's community is growing: followers or members per network (X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit) with 1d/7d/30d percent changes and one point per day for up to 90 days. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • rank_projects: Ranks crypto projects by a metric such as TVL, market cap, price, revenue or followers (or its 1d/7d/30d change), optionally within a category or chain, 50 per page. Sub-projects such as Aave V2 and Aave V3 rank as their own rows beside their parent. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • project_funding: A crypto project's funding rounds (oldest first, with date, amount, type and valuation where known), the investors behind them and the total raised. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • recent_funding_rounds: The most recent crypto funding rounds, newest first, with project, category, amount, type and investors, optionally within a category, 50 per page. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • top_investors: The top 100 crypto investors ranked by number of projects funded or by total amount invested, with their first 20 funded projects (projects_more counts the rest), 50 per page. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • investor_profile: A crypto investor's public profile (type, location, website, industries, investment criteria) and its investments, newest first, 50 per page. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • chains: Blockchains ranked by TVL with price, market cap, 1d/7d TVL change and how many projects run on each, 50 per page. Use a chain's slug with chain_metrics and its chain_slug as the chain filter of rank_projects. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • chain_metrics: A blockchain's metrics as on AlphaGrowth's chain compare page. Every value (TVL, transactions, price, social numbers) is for date, one day ago (UTC), not the current value; the ecosystem counts (projects, dapps, games, markets, pools) are current. The chain's current price and market metrics are in project_metrics with the same slug. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • fees: Protocols ranked by fees or revenue for the latest completed day, with the 24h change, the chains they earn on and their version splits, 50 per page. The 7d fields are real sums of the last seven days including the latest one. The 24h changes are null when the day before had no value. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • treasury_companies: Public companies holding crypto (BTC, ETH, SOL and others) on their balance sheet: market cap, NAV, mNAV and holdings per token, 50 per page. Totals cover every company, not just the page. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • dao_treasuries: Lists DAO treasuries worth more than $500, largest first: total USD value, 24h change, category, top tokens and main chain. Use the links for a DAO's daily history. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • dao_treasury_snapshot: Every listed DAO's treasury value in USD as of one UTC day (the last sample up to 6 days before it), largest first, for any day since 2024-07-24 up to yesterday (default: yesterday). Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • dao_treasury_history: Daily total treasury value in USD of one DAO, one point per UTC day (the day's last sample), daily since 2024-07-24; defaults to the whole history. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • dao_holdings_history: Daily token holdings of one DAO treasury (amount, USD value and price per token, one point per token per UTC day), daily since 2024-07-24. At most 92 days per call, the last 30 days by default. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
  • dao_treasury: One DAO treasury by id: total USD value, 24h change, category, top tokens and main chain. Free data from AlphaGrowth (alphagrowth.io).
