Agent Letter Desk

Send a real letter from your AI chat. Opening soon: letters are not mailed yet, and nothing is charged.

Your AI writes it with you. You check the preview and the price. We print it, post it in your name, also as a registered letter, and e-mail you the status.

For Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Mistral Vibe. MCP server URL: https://agentletterdesk.com/mcp. Add to Claude in one click: https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=Agent%20Letter%20Desk&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fagentletterdesk.com%2Fmcp

Opening soon. Invited testers can connect now. Everyone else can join the waitlist: https://agentletterdesk.com/waitlist

  • From chat to mailbox. No printer, no stamp, no trip to the post office. Your AI writes the letter; we print it and hand it to the post.
  • Nothing goes out without your yes. You check the preview and the price first. Our server, not the AI, checks your approval.
  • You know what happened. Your AI shows the status and the tracking number, if the service has one. We e-mail you when the post has your letter, and when the post records the delivery of a registered letter.

How it works

  1. Connect once. Add Agent Letter Desk to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Mistral Vibe. Sign in and enter your name. Every letter carries that name.
  2. Say what you need. In your own words. Your AI writes the letter with you and asks you for the details.
  3. Approve, and we post it. Check the preview and the price, then say yes. We print the letter, post it in your name and e-mail you the status. You can cancel until it is printed.

Five promises, kept for every letter

An AI can make mistakes. We check each letter on our side, whatever the AI says.

  1. Nothing goes out without your yes. Your AI shows you the letter, the preview and the price first. The letter waits for your approval.
  2. The price you saw is the price. A send with any other price is refused.
  3. Never sent twice. Each letter goes out once. A second copy only if you ask for one.
  4. Your name, from your account. The sender is you. No AI can change the name.
  5. Cancel until printing. Stop a prepared letter at any time, and a sent one until the printer starts on it.

How we keep these promises

  • A letter can only be sent after we prepared it: checked, laid out and priced, with a PDF preview for you.
  • The send must name the recipient of the preview and carry its exact price and number of enclosures. Anything else is refused.
  • A letter cannot be sent in the first 10 seconds after its preview. An AI that prepares and sends in one step is stopped.
  • The same letter to the same recipient again is refused, unless you ask for a second copy.
  • A letter with a blank such as [Name], or with an example address, is refused. Your AI must ask you for the real value.
  • The sender name comes from your account page. Only you can change it there.
  • Every letter and every enclosure passes an automatic check for threats, harassment, extortion and hate before it gets a price. One sender can mail the same recipient at most 3 times in 30 days.
  • Letters that end a job in Germany, or a home lease in Germany or Austria, need a handwritten signature by law. We cannot sign for you, so we do not send these letters.
  • These checks run on our side for every letter, whatever the AI says. They are code, not instructions to the AI.

Where letters go

Within the United States, and to 30 European countries from Europe or the US. For every letter, we record when the post receives it. To the United States, Belgium, Germany and Spain, a registered letter is the default: the post also records the delivery, and in the United States and Spain also the signature. In Belgium, bpost records the posting and the delivery. On its own, the receipt is proof of posting, not proof of delivery. Proof of delivery needs an acknowledgement of receipt (avis de réception). We do not offer it yet. In Germany, Deutsche Post records the date on which the carrier reports the letter as put into the mailbox. On its own, this record is not proof of delivery in a German court. A standard letter records only the handover. Prices are for one page, with printing, postage and all fees; nothing is charged before the launch. Each extra page adds €0.30 ($0.30 in the US), except: Austria, 4 pages €3.90; Belgium, registered letter, 9–10 pages €18.90; Cyprus, 9–10 pages €5.90; Germany, standard letter (2–3 business days), 9–10 pages €4.90; Malta, 9–10 pages €8.90; the Netherlands, 2 pages €3.90, 3–4 pages €4.90, 5–7 pages €5.90. A letter can have up to 10 pages, enclosures included (the Netherlands 7, the United States 5). prepare_letter quotes the exact price of each letter. Business days are the post’s usual delivery times after the handover, not a guarantee.

A letter to the United States needs a sender in the United States. A letter to Europe can come from any of 33 countries: the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. If the post cannot deliver a letter in Europe, it destroys it, and we e-mail the sender. In the United States, the post returns it to the sender address.

  • Claude (claude.ai, desktop and mobile): Add to Claude opens Claude with the name and the URL filled in. Select Add, then Connect. Sign in and allow access. In a chat, select + › Connectors and turn on Agent Letter Desk. By hand: Customize › Connectors › + Add › Add custom connector, then paste the URL.
  • ChatGPT (chatgpt.com): Plugins › Add › Add custom MCP server. Paste the URL, choose OAuth, sign in and allow access. Worked on the Free plan when we checked (13 October 2026). OpenAI decides which plans can add one.
  • Grok (grok.com): Plugins (Connectors) › New connector › Custom. Enter a name and paste the URL. Sign in and allow access in the window that opens. In a chat, type @ and pick Agent Letter Desk (Grok uses a connector only when you select it).
  • Mistral Vibe (chat.mistral.ai, formerly Le Chat): Connectors › Add custom connector. Enter a name without spaces, such as AgentLetterDesk, and paste the URL. Sign in and allow access. In a chat, select + › Connectors › Agent Letter Desk (without this step, Mistral Vibe may write the letter itself). Works on the free plan.

Should also work, not tested by us yet: Gemini (US), Meta Muse (US; Canada later), Perplexity (paid plans).

You sign in with your e-mail address or your Google account. Before the launch, only invited testers can create an account. Everyone else can join the waitlist: https://agentletterdesk.com/waitlist. On the consent page the user can give read-only access.

For AI agents

  1. Connect to the MCP server at https://agentletterdesk.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP). It uses OAuth 2.1: the user signs in on our page and approves the access.
  2. Call get_account first. The sender of every letter is the account holder. Use the default sender address. If the account has no address, ask the user for it and call save_address.
  3. Write the letter with the user. Ask the user for every name, number, date and address. Do not use placeholders or example values.
  4. Call prepare_letter. It checks the letter, lays it out and returns a PDF preview link and the price.
  5. Show the user the preview link, the recipient, the postal service and the price. Tell the user the note of the postal service: what it records and what it does not prove. A standard letter records only the handover, not the delivery.
  6. Wait for the user’s clear yes. Do not call send_letter in the same answer as prepare_letter.
  7. Call send_letter with the letter_id, the recipient name, the price and the number of enclosures that the user approved.
  8. Give the user the status and the tracking number, if the service has one. Call cancel_letter if the user wants to stop the letter before printing.

Agent Letter Desk opens soon. Letters are not mailed yet. Tell the user that the letter does not go into the mail and that nothing is charged.

Guides

When a letter beats e-mail, and how to send it.

Privacy

The text of a letter and its enclosures stay on the server only until the letter reaches a final state (sent, failed, unresolved, cancelled or expired); then they are deleted. The PDF is never stored. The print partner keeps its own copy of a letter; the privacy policy says for how long. After sending, the server keeps the record: recipient name, status, price and tracking number.

Opening soon

Agent Letter Desk opens soon. Until then, invited testers try every step, but no letter goes into the mail and nothing is charged. Paid mailing starts at the launch, with full terms. Join the waitlist: https://agentletterdesk.com/waitlist
