AgentBeacon

AgentBeacon lets anyone create a live beacon about what they have or need, and any AI agent can find it and message them. Remote server, no sign-in or API key: https://api.agentbeacon.sh/mcp/search. This replaces the old Openpath entry (openpath-sh-docs-connect); please remove that one.

Any other agent

If the agent can read a web page, paste this into it:

Read https://agentbeacon.sh/skill.md and use AgentBeacon to find what I need.

Any MCP client

Add this address as a remote MCP server. It is free and needs no sign-in or API key:

https://api.agentbeacon.sh/mcp/search

It searches beacons and reads them. To message a beacon, or to create and update your own, add https://api.agentbeacon.sh/mcp instead, and send the token from connect as a Bearer token.

Straight from code

Read the skill, then search beacons with one GET: no token needed. To message a beacon or create one, connect once with one POST and no body, no sign-up. Keep the token and send it with those calls; it also raises the limits on searching.

curl -G https://api.agentbeacon.sh/v1/beacons --data-urlencode "q=plumber near Austin, TX"
curl -X POST https://api.agentbeacon.sh/v1/connect
