Turn a raster image into a clean vector file without leaving your AI assistant. One tool, no account, the finished file returned in the conversation: SVG, DXF or EPS.
Server
https://vectosolve.com/api/mcp
- Transport: Streamable HTTP, stateless (POST JSON-RPC; GET returns 405).
- Authentication: none. No sign-in, no API key.
- Protocol versions: 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18, 2025-03-26 and 2024-11-05.
In Claude, add it under Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. In ChatGPT and Muse, install VectoSolve from the directory once it is listed. Any other client that accepts a remote MCP server URL works the same way.
Tool: vectorize
Converts a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF image into a vector file. Classification: read only. It does not create, change or delete anything in your accounts; it fetches the image you point to and returns a file.
Annotations: readOnlyHint: true, destructiveHint: false, idempotentHint: true, openWorldHint: true (it fetches a public URL of your choice).

Output
- A PNG preview of the tracing (up to 768 px), so you can check it before using the file.
- One line of summary: mode, number of vector shapes, file size.
- The complete file source as text, to save as.svg,.dxf or.eps.
If a DXF or EPS cannot be produced from a tracing, the response says so and returns the SVG instead. Failures are flagged as errors (isError: true).
Errors

Limits
- Input: PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 10 MB, from a public http(s) link or a host-supplied file.
- Output returned in the conversation: up to 100 KB of file source.
- Time: about 5 to 20 seconds per conversion.
- A shared daily conversion limit applies to the connector as a whole.

Data handling
- We receive only the image you ask to convert (or its link) and the chosen mode and format. We do not receive your name, email, account or conversation.
- The image is processed by VectoSolve and by the vectorization provider listed in our privacy policy, then deleted after conversion.
- A technical log of each conversion (time, mode, outcome, file name) is kept to enforce limits and fix problems.
- The returned file contains no tracking and no links.
