Mandate MCP

Mandate (mandateoffice.com) is an EU legal and document hub for AI agents. One MCP call returns official links to EU and national law in all 27 Member States, company data from official public business registers, company formation and post-formation guides, and a catalogue of legal document actions. Every answer carries its official source_url and retrieved_at.

This repository holds only the client side: documentation, connection examples and the MCP registry entry. The hosted server, its templates and data are not part of this repository. Nothing to install to use the service.

"Read-only" is the tool's readOnlyHint annotation. Partner-only actions and templates need a partner key; without one, list_templates currently lists no templates.

Coverage and data sources

Law (find_law, get_law_link, list_sources): search in EU (CELLAR), DE, EE, ES, AT, NL, PL, DK, LU, SE, IE, IT, LT, FR, CZ, FI, HR, LV and SI (FI, HR, LV, SI: curated core company, civil, notarial and tax acts); all 27 Member States return at least the official portal, its search link and ELI pattern. Every law item has status (in_force | repealed | unknown, stated only where the official source gives it), consolidated_url (current consolidated version, or null), checked_at and status_source.

Company registers (get_company, from the live /api/registries, checked 2026-10-31):

• Live lookup: EE, FR, CZ, FI, PL, LV, IE, HR, DK; NL by KVK number only (KVK open dataset, BV and NV; names get the kvk.nl link)
• From official open bulk files (nightly snapshots, data_as_of in the answer): LT, SE, SI
• Link only (official register URL plus matching LEI holders from GLEIF): AT, BE, BG, CY, DE, EL, ES, HU, IT, LU, MT, PT, RO, SK
• Everywhere: VAT numbers checked live in VIES, LEIs via GLEIF

Limits

• No legal advice. Mandate returns official links, public register data and information guides; no case assessment.
• Standard templates only. fill_template fills standard documents; the notary drafts the final deed.
• Never holds client money.
• Never files or signs documents on anyone's behalf; it only prepares data packages and guides, and reads public register data.
• Mandate Lobby identities are self-asserted and marked unverified; messages expire after 7 days.
