What is the Evibe MCP server?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant call external tools to read real data. Evibe ships a hosted MCP server with 19 read-only tools, so an assistant like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini can look at your live portfolio and the market — and answer questions about them. It is one of the first portfolio MCP servers you can connect to a mainstream AI assistant, and it is neutral across every broker you link.

Get your private endpoint

In Evibe, open Settings → AI & MCP to generate your personal, read-only MCP endpoint. It is unique to you and can be turned off at any time.

Add it to your assistant

Add the endpoint to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini as a custom connector / MCP server, and authorize the read-only connection.

Which AI assistants can connect to Evibe?

Any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol, including ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. You add Evibe as a custom connector or MCP server, and the assistant can then read your portfolio and market data.

Can the assistant trade or move my money?

No. Every Evibe MCP tool is read-only. The assistant can read your holdings, performance and market data and reason about them, but it can never place a trade, transfer funds or change anything in your account.

Will the AI make up numbers about my portfolio?

No. Every figure is computed server-side by Evibe and handed to the assistant, so it reports your real numbers instead of estimating them. That removes the usual hallucinated-P&L problem.

Do I need an Evibe subscription?

Yes. The MCP server connects to your own Evibe portfolio, so it requires an Evibe account. New accounts include a 7-day free trial.

What can the connection access?

Your portfolios, holdings, performance, allocation, dividends, income, transactions and watchlists, plus market data and fundamentals for any symbol — 19 read-only tools in total.

Is my data safe?

Yes. The connection is read-only and you can revoke it at any time. Bank connections run through Plaid read-only, so Evibe never sees your banking credentials and never sells your data.
